The Rotherham game was looking like a crowd of at least 23,000, maybe more. It will be nowhere near that when it is eventually played. That will have cost us quite a bit on its own.
With Wasps teetering on the abyss, this has to be the opportunity for CCFC to take over the Arena, either under SISU or an alternative owner with the funds to make it happen. So another game cancelled. As for compensation claims against WASP? Well a little difficult as each game will be re-arranged so it's basically staus quo, certainly difficult to claim compo for that. Do we want to drive a wedge between WASP and CCFC again? I would hope not. We are back at the CBS, doing better than at anytime over the last decade and have a real opportunity to push on. We are for sale (so we are told) and any dispute would certainly put off potential buyers. I can not for the life of me think SISU want to drag up another war with WASP at this point.
So as long as the called off games are with EFL consent I'm not overly worried. The biggest concern is lack of match fitness for our players. Robins should maybe arrange a friendly or two if at all possible. The games will get played and when they do lets hope we are chomping at the bit to put points on the board.
boddy for me is as cupable as WASP tbh. He should of sounded the alarm much sooner when a new pitch was not emerging. And the other point is what is the responsability of the CWG organsers in all this? Are they not held to account for making the pitch playable again?
well Preston wont bring many and that would have been the case regardless.
I'll be there so fuck those who dont bother.
Just means that hoefully we will habe COH back for those games that were postponed

It's not a case of driving a wedge between us and them, it's purely business, and their business is failing.
Sisu tried and failed before, but do you honestly think they won't try again? No. SISU drove a wedge between the two prviously and where did that get us exactly? Oh Northampton and Birmingham. if you want to sell a business then you need a happy ship not one in turmoil. That is purely business. As for WASP failing. Nobody really knows do they?

Might be a top of the table clashThe Rotherham game was looking like a crowd of at least 23,000, maybe more. It will be nowhere near that when it is eventually played. That will have cost us quite a bit on its own.
No I don't. I think these events have drained a lot of optimism from the supporters. A mid week game against Preston will not be anywhere near 23,000, particularly if we don't get a result at Hull in between times.
The higher the number in the league table the better right?Might be a top of the table clash
Yeah this will set us back no doubt. A mid table finish would be a huge achievement with this side show
