According to a couple of Tweets today, the bid from the Hoffman consortium to buy Coventry City is still on course.
City supporter Richard Keys tweeted: "No more CCFC news yet - but on course."
Fellow radio presenter Tom Ross has also tweeted: "I understand that Gary Hoffman's consortium is set to make a bid to buy Coventry club from SISU within the next few days."
That is in stark contrast to rumours yesterday saying the deal was off.

Context of the new bid is vital. If talks have already taken place and the bid has been pretty much been invited by SISU, then the takeover could be completed within weeks. If however (which is far more likely), the bid remains an unwelcome one, then we could be in for months more negotiation with no guarantee of a positive outcome.
