Appreciate that thank youWelcome on board Tom.
It's a great club with wonderful fans. It's a good time to get involved because after being in the doldrums for some years we are on the up again. The dream of getting back to the Premiership suddenly seems to be within our grasp.
The question of where to sit is very much a personal one. If you want the best view then somewhere near the halfway line might suit. For atmosphere and noise then Singers Corner may be your thing. Then again there is the new standing option.
I would normally recommend going to a few games on individual match tickets in different parts of the ground to see what you prefer. This might not suit your desire to plunge straight in with a season ticket, especially if you want to buy early for the best choice and prices.
I'm not the man to go with you because sadly, due to age and infirmity, I don't get to so many games these days. I'm sure someone will be along soon to help.
Do let us have details of your YouTube channel.
Good luck!
Yeah thought that would be the case for away games. Thanks for the replyHi Tom,
You'll struggle to get to some away games because of the priority points system in place and seemingly smaller allocations next season.
As mentioned above though, best views are Blocks 19-21 (Half way Line) and the best atmosphere is in the corner (13-17)
There's also hospitality options if that's your thing and the club does several membership deals - I'm in Club Coventry myself and although it's a bit pricey it's an excellent view and a chance to chill and socialise before the game in the lounges.
I don’t want to go into the reasons why I don’t watch my own team anymore Chester FC I have my reasons and I miss my football fix
Absolutely nothing to do with eitherIs that anything to do with the rise of Holywood Wrexham? Or did you get a kicking from the TNS or Airbus?
I’m not trying to make myself a YouTuber at all. I have a very small channel and as mentioned it’s to document the journey wouldn’t be every game I film or put online anyway it’s the main reason of me wanting to come and support the clubSupport your local team and don't use us to try and make yourself a youtuber.
Good Evening
I know there is a lot of gatekeeping in football regarding who you support etc so I’m hoping writing here will help etc
I want to become a Coventry City fan because it was my Grandad’s team who passed away nearly 30 years ago (I’m 38) we never got to go a game or any football game he’s the one person in my family who was interested in sport and football etc and it hurts to this day I never got to do any football games with him
I don’t want to go into the reasons why I don’t watch my own team anymore Chester FC I have my reasons and I miss my football fix.
I do have a small YouTube channel and will want to document the journey as well mainly so I’ll have memories of it as it is emotional the reasons behind me becoming a Coventry fan
I’ve always kept an eye for your results and the FA Cup semi final I had tears in my eyes at how close you come to winning and celebrating the goals it gave me a fire in my belly and that passion I’ve missed real feelings for the football club which has come from the memory of my Grandad
I want to go full in - season ticket and try and go every away game.
I need advice on where is best to get a season ticket and also anyone who’s willing to take me under their wing as I’ll be mainly coming by myself
Thanks for reading!
Cheers,
Tom
You can always move your ST if you do end up somewhere you don't like.

Needed 'away cunts' across the amber section.
Reminds me a bit of when the book came out about Britain's worst towns and Cities so many complaints that their town didn't feature they did a volume 2!!Interesting how the only complaints I’ve had are from Premium Zone people saying they’re not wannabe poshos. Classic wannabe posho behaviour.
We aren’t wannabe poshos. We ARE poshos.Interesting how the only complaints I’ve had are from Premium Zone people saying they’re not wannabe poshos. Classic wannabe posho behaviour.
I nearly put “scum” but left it.
No old people complaining they aren't farts, or farts saying they aren't old?Interesting how the only complaints I’ve had are from Premium Zone people saying they’re not wannabe poshos.
This is absolutely elite
Twitterers are stealing your credit though

Absolutely nothing to do with eitherespecially not Hollywood FC
I don’t agree with the ownership model of the club - The ‘board’ who ‘run’ the club and the manager who was mainly appointed due to his mates being on the board (Boston’s current manager was interviewed and look what’s happened to them now) Many more reasons and fallen out of love with it. My Grandad was football mad and this was his team so means a lot to be able to come and follow his club.
As the club is in its current setup then it’s non league forever which isn’t what the vision of the club was when it reformed. The ‘board’ don’t seem to have any interest in progressing the club by looking for investment which needs to happen - Chester could be an EFL club in the correct hands. From a Sky Blues fan that now lives in Handbridge, I’ve got to know a few Chester fans from the England scene, (and I’ve been to the Deva a fair few times myself in recent years) I get some of the points you’re making. Chester FC has a lot in common with CCFC of pre 2018. Financial trouble, general apathy amongst the fan base, negativity that they will never get out of their league and constantly losing their best players for nothing.
One of the big drawbacks of Fan ownership is little finance (unless the fans fund it all) and it makes it hard to compete with others in your league with any recruitment.
I didn’t know about McIntyre having mates on the board but he did well for Runcorn and got you into the playoffs last season. Losing a 20 goal a season striker like Willoughby on a free, with no replacement or money to spend, is beyond difficult. We lost Gyokeres last year but managed to get a good fee for him, if we lost him with no fee, we would be struggling at the other end of the table.
I wouldn’t turn your back on your club completely, you think things will never change but it did for us in 2017 with the return of Mark Robins. Maybe buy a couple of match tickets for us when Chester aren’t playing and see if it’s for you first.
We're now a 'bigger side to support'. I'm feeling a bit emotionalLots of fans have a non league side and a bigger side to support and I’ve taken the decision and the reasons why above it holds a place close to my heart because of my Grandad to support Coventry and things could change in the future but I’ll always still come watch Coventry
one of the original three CCFC's, us. Cardiff and Chester. To be fair to you Chester FC was previously Chester City FC so at least shares something in common with Cov (and a city wall)
Well one change a season ain't so bad, just ask the hatter's!!Looks like I’m gonna have to improve my attire to sit in block 19
next season then
