Well the original club shop in town closed, presumably because it wasn't making a profit, then they moved to a very small outlet near the market and they then closed that. Now having effectively turned their back on 85% of their customer base they open a new superstore, genius.:facepalm:
If the vast majority of fans are refusing to go to Northampton, do they seriously believe they are suddenly going to rush to a new superstore to buy shirts and merchandise. Still at least Coventry Council will be pleased to get a cheque off SISU for their business rates. I wonder if they will cash it, or just frame it.

If you want to conveniently give Sisu some of your money then you might find this the most exciting news since Rolf Harris got charged.
But I think a large proportion of fans couldnt give a sh*t whilst Sisu are there.
Guess we'll see how busy it is.

SISU have opened a shop in Coventry - whopee we are moving in the right direction!

FFS, Manchester United have a store in Singapore, but it doesn't mean they will be moving there any time soon.

can't picture the size of the store in my head but those shops are quite big aren't they? wonder what they're going to use it all for, if they get in loads of stock at this stage of the season there must be a big risk (esp with NOPM) of ending up with a lot of stock you can't shift. After all it's usually after Xmas when they start the massive discounts to try and get rid of everything.

They struggled to get custom in the former City Centre one, so why go for a new base so big?

That said, the city centre one was very small, and only sold 'discounted / sale' items so may have been the reason for the slow trade.

Still not sure they've chosen the right location though. Most fans found it a struggle to get to the Ricoh for merchandise and tickets, especially if they live the opposite side of the City. I can vouch for that. It's a bit of a ball ache finding the time to get over.

Oh well, atleast they're making the option available to those who may wish to use it. And it will give the staff somewhere a bit more comfortable to be working, rather than all huddled around barrel in a walkway!

It's selling CCFC gear, revenue to help fund a squad for next season not SISU T-Shirts, you fruit loop.

Why the fuck would any City fan vandalism a CCFC shop staffed by Coventry folk selling gear with their club badge on it? It beggars belief. Absolute bonkers.

The less money they make, the quicker they realise its over for them in Coventry and they sell up.

The fact is Sisu may have to sell, to get rid of a bad investment, and they will have to sell at whatever the market will pay. The club has potential, it is way below where it should be due to Sisu failure.

Oh yeah, we're not going to sell to SISU as they only want us for the Arena. We'll sell the American property developer who is obviously a massive City fan.

Not arguing over SISUs failure, but I don't think whoever buys us will be football fans. Rather fans of the Ricoh and its potential.

Why it's owners began to withdraw funding it over two years ago, why it's owners sold it's best striker in the January before relegation after stripping the club of most decent players anyway and why that all rental charges only ever amounted to about 1/7th of all losses each year. Go on pal tell me why are they almost as much to blame !!??

The club has little or no potential without a stadium. Join the two together and the buyers will be back. Only the Council can allow that to happen now.

We don't know much about the other people, only Haskell really who apparently put in a serious bid. We don't know too much about the other bidders to comment but how do we know they will be any better than SISU or if they would be interested?

Surely I could have made an offer of £1 for the club?

A buyer will agree a Ricoh deal in parallel to a Sisu sale. Sisu need to find a buyer and sell.

The point is there were serious interested parties and there will be buyers at the right price. Sisu may well be realising they need to find potential buyers to get out of this bad investment. In fact they would be crazy not to building some contingency plans now re a sale.

I thought we all agreed we want Sisu gone, given their terrible record....

The club has a lot of potential with an owner who actually knows something about football and has some sort of passion for football. It doesn't have a future with an owner that sees it only as a pawn in a money making game.
