Eight-second law: New law to tackle goalkeeper time-wasting introduced

A goalkeeper holding the ball for more than eight seconds will be punished with a corner for the opposition from this summer.

What's the point? How long did the additional time stuff last where they actually counted?

Well considering keepers already keep hold of it for way longer than 8 seconds and refs don't enforce a 6 second rule, why is this going to be any different?

"I know lads, let's have the same rule as now but add two seconds on! That'll sort it right out!"
