So if sisu were to change our name as well as location would you still support Elvis and the boys?

This has happened before so no stopping them changing the name or even the Colour we play in....

For me any other change and I will not support them any more like Sisu I would move on.

Errr, you're asking that if we stayed in Northampton, no longer played in Sky Blue and were no longer Coventry City, would I still support the team?

Obviously I would, yes.

How can you make decisions on speculation. It depends on what changes actual changes take place but also the context and reason for those changes.

For instance colour alone, how many shades of blue have we had and then add in the away kits....colour on its own isn't an issue. There would have to be another factor another motive.

You are all assuming SISU change the name. What if Coventry Council or some Coventry grouping find a way of forcing a change of name because SISU's team play permanently somewhere else and SISU "damage" the council financially or their reputation so much that jobs in Coventry are effected? If it gets that far it may be necessary to look for ways of making the name Coventry City FC available for investors who want to build a Coventry based FC to become an anchor tennant at the Ricoh in the future.

... and the scaremongering continues.
Tomorrow it will be a 'known fact' that sisu are planning on changeing the clubs name and crest.

It's odd how most never blieve what sisu say - like 'we're here for the long term' or 'the club is not for sale' or 'we won't sell any player unless well above valuation' ... yet readily accept made up stories as more than likely to happen.

In journalism the OP is called a 'straw man'. It's used to discredit somebody for something they never did.
It's a popular tool especially used by radical polticians and populists.

Straw Man is a logical fallacy, not specifically to do with journalism.

It's also not what's happened here, this is a hypothetical.

So you think all people who make logical fallacies are naive fools?

That's a straw man!

However, the straw man argument is regarded as a logical fallacy, because at its core, the person using the device misrepresents the other person's argument. The person does this because it then becomes easier to knock down the weaker version of the opposing argument with one's more substantial counter argument.

Sisu will never change our name - the OP is using a straw man to discredit sisu.
It really shouldn't be necessary to invent stuff, it's not like there's a shortage of real ammunition.

Scaremongering?
Hypothetical question. just like nearly every thread on here.
What if we play outside of cov?
what if we come back to the ricoh?
what if we stay in Northampton.?
what if they win the judicial review?
what if they loose the judicial review?
what would the crowd be if we were at the ricoh?
is it Sisu fault?
is it ACL fault?
Is it both there fault?.
Is NOPM working?
are the idiots on the hill making a difference cheap skates ?
are the fans going in the ground scabs ?
are the stay aways lazy ?
what if what if what if????

What if I hadn't forgotten to bring my lions mask ?
What if I hadn't lost my extra loud whistle?
What if the Peg Army hadn't turned up?
These are the important questions
Lesser questions include
What if the fans of all persuasions at away games behaved towards each other like they do on this board?

Never is a long time. If they are unable to find / fund a suitable ground in the Coventry area, I could quite easily see the FL allowing them to keep the golden share on condition that the club name reflect their new location. However I don't see Sisu doing that voluntarily - it would be on a completely different level of stupidity than everything they have already done.
