AB is looking to bring in his eighth signing today according to the Cov Telegraph. He has tried to loan the likes of Danny Welbeck and Marme Diouf from Man United, Waghorn from Sunderland and Vaughn from Everton, he has said that he is trying to sign a player in a similar way to Lukas Jutkiewicz so maybe one of these attempted loans could become a permanent signing? Or any other ideas who this signing could be?

I have seen rumours of it being somebody from Blackburn who we will be getting.

I don't know how true or who though.

*cough* Torres *cough*

No, no idea really. I remember us being linked with James Beattie a while back...but maybe I'm being slightly optimistic there ;)

Would like Danny Welbeck from UTD, but isn't he in America on their pre-season tour?
"The kid was outstanding on loan last season and now I think that 70 per cent of the Championship would like to take him," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.

"I have said that his future is with us this year and nothing has changed. I wouldn't have thought I would be loaning him out this season."

Not seen too much of Vaughan, he looks alrite, but his goal record isn't the best.

I would have liked to see Waghorn as he played well for Leicester and scored a few goals.

The only strikers at Blackburn that would be available i feel would be Alan judge, Arron Doran, Maceo Rigtors or Nikola Kalinic none of which are getting regular 1st team football. If it is true i would think Nikola Kalinic would suit the AB style 6.2" peter crouch style player.
