He's 5'7Juke wasn't a prolific goal scorer but he made defences compete for every ball.

Tend to agree will need support ie a natural goal scorer but they come at a premiumCertainly, but it is no improvement. He isn't the man to keep us up.

That's a diddy front two though. Beavon is only 5ft 7 and I would guess that Thomas is smaller.It would be good if George Thomas could get a few goals alongside Beavon. I'm sure there's more to Thomas, maybe a goal and a run in the side and he'll be flying

Just checked, Thomas is 5ft 8. I don't think two strikers, one 5ft 8 and one 5ft 7 is going to work too well.

Morell still hard working! He came on as a sub against Nuneaton on Boxing Day and was chasing the ball and players down for the time he was on. Got a yellow card too. I have watched Tamworth a few times this season and to me he stands out as their best player even though he must be 40+ I would have thought. A bit like Strachan stood out for us in the few games he played.No way, this fella can hold the ball. Morrell was a goal sniffer.

With these moves happening immediately as the window opened it's only the start of Slade's rejig. If he's identified players that fit with how he wants to do things I've got more confidence now than with all the round pegs in square holes we've been watching so farCertainly, but it is no improvement.
