Completely agree. Said before that its an easy let off for SISU when people just laugh when a new stadium is mentioned or say it will never happen. Would be much better if people were pushing them to show how it will actually work. What I really want to see us the commercial evaluation that shows this is even financially viable. They must have some costings and some revenue benefit evaluation - let’s be honest this is bollocks
So you think it could happen ??More chance of Trump joining the Democrats than building a stadium at Warwick Uni.

Maybe should have rephrased it “more chance of Trump being re-elected”Trump was a Democrat
Its all strange , 6 paragraphs of nothing and no further forward than the previous communication 7 months ago. Just don’t understand why Warwick uni would put their name to something that was bullshit?
Tommo. Do you expect them to come out and name a site and show detailed plans right now.A few people on twitter seem to have bought it completely.

A choice we haven’t had at a home game in about 6-7 years. So are you getting a seat behind the goal or along the side?
Bought what? Nothing to buy other than talks are carrying on, so you are saying that talks aren't happening then....
D

Due to our beloved CCC (who can still be obtuse and difficult here despite the likelihood of land not being in their land) and their network of friends and their desire to shaft all things Joy Sepalla related , keeping things, no matter how small, or big is something that has to happen.
I obviously agree the jury is out... but again, Warwick haven't yet backed out of this, and we have seen evidence of prior meetings in October too. (Zoom pics where boddy is at Ryton with the lg1 trophy on top of the cupboard, joy joining in with a local media too...)
Their reputation isn't really on the line. If it doesn't happen, it will be either because of SISU or the council or matters out their hands, Warwick can just say they were willing to move forward but SISU pulled out or planning wasn't granted and be done with it.Just don’t understand why Warwick uni would put their name to something that was bullshit?

But if it was bullshit they wouldn’t be associated to it so surely this has something more than just a chat.Their reputation isn't really on the line. they’re just been manipulated into this plan by SISU to add pressure to wasps and councilBut if it was bullshit they wouldn’t be associated to it so surely this has something more than just a chat.
Bet we’re talking to Wasps more than we’re talking to UoW...

Why would that be a problem. Surely the best scenario is a deal with wasps to play at the Ricoh with a break clause to move to new stadium at uow? Those two sets of discussions are not mutually exclusiveBet we’re talking to Wasps more than we’re talking to UoW...

Yep it does feel the only new information is they’ve met. Really bare minimum and I’m sure the initial statement said there wouldn’t be an update unless there was some concrete progress. Who really knows anything apart form Ms SeppallaDidnt say they were mutually exclusive. My point is that CCFC and Wasps/CCC are on very frosty terms, yet there’s probably still more contact. There’s literally been no advance on this new update.
Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere yet?
Wasps Group learns outcome of crucial bondholder's meeting
The group raised £35million through a bond scheme that was launched in 2015www.coventrytelegraph.net
Wasps position strengthened as Bondholders appear to have let them off the hook. A blow to our supposed strategy I feel.
Find it hard to believe they would go this far then completely lose any credibility with ALL fans down the line.
Might be complete bullshit, or might be some truth behind it. At the moment, I'm happy to give them the benefit of the doubt until something concrete comes along. Find it hard to believe they would go this far then completely lose any credibility with ALL fans down the line.
All they have to do is wait a couple of years and announce another new stadium project, most fans will forget all about the last set of plans. Especially if the team’s playing well at the time.
Some seem to be forgiving now, after nothing concrete being confirmed, or progress being made in the past six years or so.I think without a stadium (or at least being away from Coventry), fans aren't going to be as forgiving if nothing concrete has been confirmed or no progress made in the next year or so.

Holy fuckyou can't honestly believe that?
If so I win my bet and you have to be a troll account (or actually a 14 year old kid)
