He may go in for a drink - no problem with that. Off to Sixfields isn’t he?
He was a great pro and worked in his limitations including lack of height and pace but was one of the better centre halves we had in the premier league years
The 'great pro' type you regularly rip apart!! He certainly always gave 100% and for that reason I don't really want to slag him off, but he was extremely limited, a poor man's Mick Coop if you like. I know its only a drinking booth but it would be frankly embarrasing if he were to win any vote amongst City fans as our greatest ever defender. In our PL days Atherton & Babb were miles better.

I'm basing it on hairstyles, Nilsson gets a booth for meIt's not best 11 or Nilsson would walk in, but he's not a club legend. It should be Curtis, Kilcline and Peake, then either Shaw or Borrows to fill the other imo. Other certs should be Cyrille, Dion and Houchen, midfield not so sure, Hutchinson definitely then possibly Lloydy and Doyler. I'm sure some will want Hudson or Wallace up top but not for me.

I’ve voted for him because I think he’s our best ever defender. I just want to sit in a Richard Shaw booth and get pissed.

Shaw was a spoiler and an awkward dogged opponent in much the same way Lloyd McGrath was in midfield. You could argue that both were under rated? With one eye on the ref, Shaw did a lot of holding, shirt pulling and liked an arm wrestle with an opponent. After all his nickname was "the Limpet."
But if you are talking best defenders I would put George Mason, George Curtis, Jimmy Holmes, Gary Gillespie and Trevor Peak all in front of Shaw.
Shaw was a player who you grew to appreciate from watching him week in week out rather than the odd TV apperance.
I would have thought that the spirit of this is to have players that bring back happy memories as opposed to who our most technically gifted players are. I'd rather have a few pints in the Dave Bennett bar than the Gary McAllister bar, but I also know who the more gifted football player was. Likewise I'd rather have a beer in the Houchen bar than the Hadji bar, but again I know who by far the better player was.
Longevity, connection with the fans is way more important here than pure ability. Anyway if it was only due to ability we'd have the place jam packed with players who we had to sell on. They should be "our" guys- only exceptions I'd make are Regis & Dublin.
I could blame predictive text or even pretend to care of someone who had left by the time I was old enough, but as most on here can't even spell Robins, I'll give myself a pass on this one.Who is this Hutchinson?
I wonder if they will be able to blag a special license to stream city away games on iFollow.
Can imagine them making a fortune if so.
When fans are back ifollow won't be allowed to stream games..much like previously. Away games especially would be difficult as the home team wouldn't want to run the risk of their own fans buying our stream and not going to the gameI wonder if they will be able to blag a special license to stream city away games on iFollow.

Ifollow was around before Covid wasn’t it?
Certainly was. Not sure being able to watch ifollow will stop a significant number of people attending. Needs to be looked into as people will watch the stream whether its available legally or not so how much benefit is it to block people who want to give the club money?Ifollow was around before Covid wasn’t it?
Gutted, I wanted to drink reef and aftershock in the Kevin Thornton booth.
