How did those 40 - 100 people earn money for SISU though?
The best protest is not going to the games. All those people who invaded the pitch at the last game, paid to get in and thus earned money for SISU. Starving them of money is the only thing they understand. But I suspect they will just sell players to make up for it. More pitch invasions will get us a point deduction and certain relegation, but maybe that's what the protesters want.
The thing is, I reckon 99% people who question just shouting SISU out just question what the plan is. It isn't that they want SISU IN, they just want to have more of an idea what happens if SISU are OUT.
A lot of people seem to be SISU OUT at any cost, they are quite happy to be liquidated and start again. A lot of others will be a bit more wary though.
If somebody made a football club for sale advert that was serious it would work, none of emotion and hatred but just kept it as a professional advert.
We can hope for a knight in shining armour but the reality is there are none as when you look at CCFC all you see is a stripped down club without a stadium and little asset value except goodwill.
So the only way forward in the short to medium term is to support the team as much as possible and increase our revenue so some investment in players and support for the next manager may give us the chance to get out of this league or at least challenge. Do that and then we make ourselves attract some new ownership.
If SISU leave right now we are in the kind of territory none of us envisioned and the way back would be a long, long road if at all. It's just a reality.
Its not the football club who have destroyed our relationships with ACL, WASP, Council and others it's this hedge fund bunch. For a new owner they have the opportunity to get some new deals. It's too late to own the stadium but I'm sure WASP would listen to any new sustainable arrangement that suited both sides and increased their revenue streams. The promise of investment in the team and more success on the pitch follows that bigger crowds of 15 -17k would be a regular occurrence. It's a win win. SISU are unwilling to invest to achieve this and know they have shot their bolt anyway. The council would look more kindly to new fresh owners of CCFC and we could begin building again from league 1 where all is not yet lost.
protest won't get rid of SISU. The question is what will? Is it by adding our team support, grow the crowed, raise revenue, get more success for it and attract that new owner to take a look? The other route simply gets worse.

Also as said before any potential buyer knows the size, history and ability of club and city.

You're right. But doesn't the last 8 years also tell us that despite constant reductions in revenue they're still here so there's no proof that depriving them of income further will get rid of them.

Yes Chip fat. We are treading water. We won't get money from our owners. Money has to be generated. The only way to do that apart from player sales is income streams.It's been said that will go to the club not SISU investors. That's the sustainable model they are trying to achieve.
If we don't then any new owner looking at us will not want to invest while we are in league 2 or worse. We must show that the club is sustainable, can hold its own. They have our money to survive at present but if the gates get any smaller and they adjust their budget we will be surviving in league 2. There is no question they need bigger gates to help the team. That's also the way to attract new potential owners, it won't be because we have potential when the club is all but lost in league 2 needing even more money to resurrect it. The knight in shiny armour is not there becuase we won the FA Cup once, we must survive and improve in this league and prove it's doable on our own in spite of SISU's refusal to pump money in. Protesting SISU out and dumping us will only be a catastrophe.
Yes and no. if we sell a player for 2m then yes they will plunder some of that. The gate money and some of player sales WILL form part of the sustainable model. Don't be misled completely. They have to do this or pump money in right? And we all know they are refusing to do this now.You'll wake up and smell the shit soon!
By all means continue the visible and physical protests for maximum exposure to our plight. To me, it appears as if TF/SISU have declared war on us, the supporters. However, I wonder if there is a subtle way out of the public eye and the eyes of TF/SISU to undermine them and look for anything that just might indicate they are unfit owners or anything else ?
At the moment, SISU know what we are up to and planning re protests. Anyone any ideas how to subtly expose them ?

Do you have a sugar daddy lined up ready to go in?We seem to have a growing band of ex players coming out against sisu's ownership and the way they run the club (sorry they don't it's TF). Can we not write to all the x players and ask for a statement on their thoughts. When we have, say 100, send copies of them to the FA and FL and every media outlet we can.
Also perhaps a statement from supporters clubs from every team in the PL and FL. Send that to the media and parliament.

That's the point Nick. If they are forced out by protest, liquidate us without as much a sniff of something else on the horizon then the clubs own fans would have killed this club off.
It's a horrible situation but must be viewed more seriously than just the tag line 'SISU OUT' as if that in of itself solves all our problems.

Wouldn't get auction off, the club would just cease to exist. They'd reshuffle by changing the various numbers of teams promoted and relegated. The game stops for 10 mins and the point is made. It pisses everyone off and then on to the game.
The problem is the protests aren't working for us or charlton. Both sets of owners are still here but I guess it's the constant protests that will work in the end. You heard fisher he didn't like the protest Thursday so if he didn't like it then do it it again surely? Yes the club get fined and what have you but when you have got nothing you have got nothing to lose.
Because it always looks like a sellout! And that's the stand the cameras face, especially for a game that isn't televised only filmed for highlights, wouldn't be a terrible ideaand the place would look empty

I respect everyone's deduction in not not going on the pitch, not blowing a whistle etc. But some people criticise others who are trying to make a difference by protesting. People say they were disgusted to be a city fan on Thursday!
