Positions to strengthen

I would like to get Burge out on a season long loan with a recall option

I would like to sign two strong Full backs who can attack and defend
I would like to see two comparable players for each position.
Controversial but I would like to see Stokes as a CB alongside a monster commanding new signing
Ricketts as a back up CB only not full back
Two strikers a Juke type player and an Armstrong X 2

RCC/Burge
New RB/ Wills
New CB X 2 plus Stokes and Ricketts
New left back ( Haynes on loan recal and stokes as cover.

Vince as defensive mid plus new defensive mid
Vlad as creative mid plus new signing as creativ mid
Bigi, Rose as back up cm mids
3 new wingers plus Jones.
2 new Juke styled strikers
2 Quick Armstrong styled strikers

Rest of squad supplemented by the kids

4-4-2 pressing game when we don't have the ball
Possession game with lots of wing play and crosses when we have it.

Haven't really got time to reply properly but

- Burge won't go on a season long loan as we need him as back up
- we don't play 442
- you're obsessed by bigi, he's still contracted to newcastle at this point
- with G Thomas and Tudguy, we're only going to sign 2 strikers not 4,
- we don't need 3 new wingers, we also have Lamieres (you've forgotten him
- unless considerably better comes in, Rose should start, he's the only midfielder who will actually run beyond the striker and get in the box
- you want to sign 2 new cms then have bigi and rose as back up on top of that - 6 players for 2 positions? We will also have Stevenson and Lawton as back up, to the back ups, who are the back ups to the back ups.
-Kelly Evans will be back up right back to willis
- mowbray isn't going toplay stokes cb, he's first choice left back

You want 13 new players, many of which you want to walk straight into the first team, along with what we have retained and what we have promoted from the youth ranks? Your looking at about 30 players, far too many to keep happy/interrested in a L1 squad.

Obviously will fluctuate with injuries/suspensions loans in/out but that is far too many players.

You also have to balance quality with quantity to fit the wage budget, I'd much prefer we sign 6/7 players on twice the money that we would spend on 13.

22 players plus the kids who have been given contracts
Sign 6-7 players (including loans) only

(Recall) he will be the back up but he needs to develop

- we don't play 442

(I would like us to, it ms what I would like to see next year that's the whole point)

- you're obsessed by bigi, he's still contracted to newcastle at this point

(He is yes, I better take my posters of him off the wall. Hardly an obsession to think we should sign him on loan again or if he is prepared to take a wage drop sign him again as s back up midfielder. Weird thing to say)

- with G Thomas and Tudguy, we're only going to sign 2 strikers not 4,
- we don't need 3 new wingers, we also have Lamieres (you've forgotten him

(Yes completely forgot about Lamieres one winger less needed)

(G.Thomas is a kid bolstering the squad for me. I like Tudguy but would prefer better if possible in that role I want a more robust striker, but wouldn't be devastated if he was one of the 4)

- unless considerably better comes in, Rose should start, he's the only midfielder who will actually run beyond the striker and get in the box

(Like his runs into the box but I want a Paul Ince beside a Paul Scholes CM like we had with Fleck and Vince
Rose is very versatile a great player to have in the bench )

- you want to sign 2 new cms then have bigi and rose as back up on top of that - 6 players for 2 positions?

(Rose can pretty much play anywhere)

We will also have Stevenson and Lawton as back up, to the back ups, who are the back ups to the back ups.
-Kelly Evans will be back up right back to willis

(Kids to bolster the squad yes)

- mowbray isn't going toplay stokes cb, he's first choice left back

(He might not but I would and this is what I would like to see. He was awesome at CB he was more natural there than LB. Ge is a good LB at this level but a very good CB. Less pressure on him to attack.

Your 22 being:

13 new signings incl loans as above.
RCC, Burge, Wills, Stokes, Ricketts, Vince, Vlad, Bigi, Rose, Jones.
Already 23, then what do you do with
Llamerias & Tudgay? 25
Kids from the academy Lawton, Kelly Evans x2, Stevenson, Spence, Harries, all kids who are bordering on too old to be carrying around the squad if theyre not even going to be sat on the bench.

Id suggest your 13 new signings will be reduced by Llamerias, Tudgay, Harries, Kelly Evans x1 and probably Stevenson who will be expected to be squad players come August.

You're either dreaming or playing football manager mate

If youre going to sign 13 players the budget will only stretch to below par players and we would have a similar squad to 2nd half last season, youre just unnecessarily filling out your squard with players to the level of Henderson, Hunt and MAF again.

MAF did alright , he shouldnt be lumped in with henderson ramage etc

i agree though we are better off with 8 good players and rest academy rather than 12 new signings who might not be the quality we need

MAF did well on occasions, mainly away from home, I would hope we have a first team squad next season that he wouldnt be able to get into though, there must be progression else we may have just extended him.

Just make sure whoever we sign is better than what we have let go and better than what we had this season, otherwise we are going nowhere. If we are to compete for promotion (automatic I hope), we need a sprinkling of players who are the best in this league. And we cannot afford a glaring weakness anywhere otherwise it will be found out and exploited.

I said earlier I forgot about lameries
So that one less signing. If we sign Tudguy that's another less. However I would prefer if we didn't as I would prefer a more robust striker besides a nippy lad.

It would be 5 season long loans and 7 permanent signings
6 permanents if Tudguy signs.
9 players have just left don't forget.

I would like to see most the kids out on loans with recalls if possible.
