Robins has a full week in traning with them, Gillingham have a game midweek and on a very similar run to ourselves . This will dictate how the rest of the season is going to go.

Community day, 20k plus city fans if there’s not a reaction following on from today then I’m sorry Robins is on borrowed time.

Only so long that one up front at home, lack of direction and no tempo in play will cut it. Forget about Wembley and the good times theres been, his recruitment this season and constant changes in front line is worrying.

Blanked the last 'community' day, got a feeling i'm gonna give this one a miss too. Similar atmosphere to watching Gladiators or Robot Wars at the NEC. No thanks.

Really looking forwards to it and am confident of a win.

Gone into too many of these games with great expectation upon the City to win.

After this poor run of form I don't think any of will be expecting a win. Think that will work in our favour and we will bag the 3 points. A new player in the ranks too.

Can we bet on him being played out of position?

Cancel this new striker we have enough already we need a goalkeeper more urgently
I tend to agree.

He had a bit of a purple patch where we though all was well, but he's gone back to his bad old ways. I don't know why he keeps staying rooted to his line all the time.

Also what is to be gained by bringing this bloke in he won’t be here next year anyway, coach what you have rather than keep changing them and save the money for the removal men in the summer;)

My thoughts exactly, he spent 300k on Baka and hardly given him a chance, Hiwula starts up top scores a few but then is just put out on the wing and then this week Chaplin alluding to the fact he’s been told to play deep. It does make you wonder.

I’m not Bakayoko’s biggest fan(my son is though) but I thought he came on and put himself about.

He also had a shot that nearly hit the corner flag.

I have always stuck up for him, but he just doesn't look a striker to me. His first touch is poor and his shooting is not at all good either.

You mean when it bobbled and he tried to get a shot off quickly?

He deserves a run in the squad, he has the best goals per minutes in the squad.

Next week he needs to rest Chaplin he’s been missing sitters since the Sunderland since end of September. Don’t know any other striker that could play so shit consistently for over 3 months and still play 90 minutes religiously.

Them 3/4 goals he’s bagged in recent games has been the worst thing to happen too because he’s played shit in all them but because he’s got a few goals on his tally all his fans have piped up in his defence

I don't think he had been shit though.

I am bitterly disappointed that he has missed some great chances, but think that more often than not his all-round play has been pretty good.

He has 4 goals in 5 games and also had that assist for Hiwula's headed goal too.

I would have been calling for him to be rested if he hadn't had got those goals, but he did.

Don't think he had a good game at all today though.

Expecting a win because we’re not expecting a win....

Mind blown
Ah, but that's just me and one solitary opinion. I am talking here about a general view amongst all the support.

Bet there's not many will have us down for a win.

You just look at the predictions next week.

Chaplin wouldn’t be anywhere near the squad if I was robins next week he’s so slow did we even send scouts to watch the lad play ? I don’t see how he changes the team and system that much to get them playing different worrying comments how robins Thinks “were nearly there”

WTF !!!

I think we are though.

People were saying last week at Plymouth that, that was some of the best football we have played for some time and we were cutting through Blackpool in that first half with ease.

We are missing easy chances. That tells me there is not that much wrong that needs to be put right.

We should have won both of our last two games.

I think we ARE close to being a decent side.

We are a decent side if we take the lead and manage to hold onto it.

For all the fancy passing and triangles against Blackpool and Plymouth we had absolutely no clue what to do when we went behind.

I have always been optimistic Chaplin will turn out ok but patience finally ran out with him yesterday his first touch was abysmal his hold up play non existent he needs a rest NOW, he is a young lad with a hefty price tag on his shoulders and doesnt seem to be able to cope atm also if he is up front he is not capable of holding the ball up so why try?

I'd try baka and jordi up front they would surely give the defence something to worry about

Yeah, totally agree. We always seem like rabbits in the headlights and it is not acceptable.

To be fair to him yesterday though the pitch was a disgrace and the ball was bobbling. Hiwula and Bakayoko were struggling too to take the ball under control.

I think the football is poor & negative we have zero outlet up front it’s awful it’s getting worse week by week

I always see the opposition strikers not having the same issues

If we are persisting with 1 up top you have to play Bakayoko. He’s the only one with the physical attributes to play in that position. Yet there is a lingering doubt over his technical ability and tactical awareness. The setup we have doesn’t actually suit any of the strikers Robins brought in.

The football is poor? Really?

At times we are playing very good football. It's just the end product that is lacking.

JCH doesn't have the physical attributes?

I would say JCH is more physical than Bakayoko.
