2 Men arrested over her murder and they are hopeful they will find her body.

Fingers crossed they are getting somewhere so that her family can get a bit of closure!

I was personally affected by this as I knew Nicola's mum very well. She was a dinner lady at a school in Henley Green where I was on the board of governors. She was a lovely lady and as you can imagine, was devastated when Nicola went missing. I whooped with joy when I heard arrests had been made. Let's hope they find the poor girls body so she can be laid to rest properly and give her family a place to visit.

Awful situation for the parents and relatives to have gone through. I echo the sentiments posted by others that they hopefully find the body so at least her family can try and put a measure of closure on it.

I used to work with the bloke who married Nicola's sister.

Only on suspicion of preventing a burial rather than Murder though.

I know they've been released now, (one on bail, the other without charge), but how could they be charged with this offence if no body was ever found? Strange situation really. I hope if it's somebody passing on wrongful information they are charged with wasting police time, and not forgetting what it has done for the hopes of Nicola's parents and relatives.

Looks like they heard you. Looks like they are considering charging them with wasting police time.

Imagine how much it cost in money and man hours for them to carry out all of the searching if they were given duff information :(

The difference being the police had witnesses who were prepared to testify against him in court which left him with no alternative but to admit his guilt.

I was told something last night which I'd not heard before, and I've no idea if there is any substance to it or not, so here goes, the two people who were arrested had a relative who was only 16 at the time of Nicola's disappearance, he was strongly suspected of being involved in her disappearance, he committed suicide about 6 months later. I wouldn't pay it too much credence but when you think of the charge the father and son were arrested on it wouldn't be that far off the mark, even though they have been released.
