Is he? Don’t know anything about him.
Luckily our recruitment team have seen more than just Clark playI’d prefer Clark on loan from Liverpool, seen him play and very good.

He's a playmaker. He's tall but not the strongest in the world, nor is he a massive aerial threat, but he's smart in where he places his body in duels. We've played him as a deeper midfielder (alongside someone else) before, but he's much better playing higher up the field. Brilliant footballer, will miss him when he's gone, and I think he is as he got subbed off in the 89th minute last night. Whether that is to Coventry or somewhere else, I don't know.Is he a ball winning 6? Looks like he used to play 6 but has been effective further forward.
Really feel like we’ll look a much better side with someone actually screening the defence rather than playing 3 8’s in front of them
Didn't someone on here say he ISN'T the answer?Ok. Is he really the answer!?? Genuine question.
Everyone thinks our signings are always world beaters until we actually see them play.
Out of the way of the bullet ?but he's smart in where he places his body in duels
Looks classy in online clips. But what is his work rate and mobility like, bearing in mind the demands of the Championship? He's a playmaker. Works hard and runs a lot, though his body language makes him look like he's not bothered. Takes a while to get used to.Looks classy in online clips. But what is his work rate and mobility like, bearing in mind the demands of the Championship?
I already have fears for the reception he could get!Works hard and runs a lot, though his body language makes him look like he's not bothered. Takes a while to get used to.
We've just got a new coach this season who's been working hard on player fitness/stamina this preseason, as he wants to play a high press, and he has looked a bit knackered by minute 75 or so.
We have two in Sheaf and EcclesNeed an engine player with bite in the middle badly - hopefully yesterday confirmed that for robins
Need a young Dennis Wise
Yeah. I’d take. 50 year old Dennis wise! After yesterday I’d settle for an old Dennis Wise.

And that's my worry about Torp. He is very one paced. When we break forward quickly he struggles to catch up with play. Likewise, when we get turned over he is huffing and puffing to get back. He has some nice touches, especially in tight areas. But one thingcwe won't be able to coach into him is pace.
Torp should be played as an 8, in the gaps between the opposition defence and midfield, in matches where the midfield is "busy" and we're playing possession based football. I think in these situations it's OK to play Torp and Rudoni in the 8 role, and Sheaf (if fit) at 6. In matches where the defence needs more protection we need to play 2x 6's, Sheaf and Eccles - which is where we have issues because there's no cover there. Not to bang at the same drum but another option at 6 is vital. Yesterday was all wrong in midfield.
