I think some fans may owe AT an apology. ;) ...say what you want about his managerial capabilities, the guy can SPOT a player.

REALLY impressed with him!!! (watched on a live stream!). I just hope this isn't a debut flash in the pan. He is so quick and dazzles the oppostition brilliantly!

His imagination and skill is exactly what the team was missing the last few months when all the decent performances have gone to waste. I hope he keeps it up!

He always wanted the ball and wanted to get into space! When he kept looking away and passing it, running round players or running into space!

Work rate was immense, if he is like this every game then juke who

Loved how he's draw defenders then lay the ball off. We looked so much better going forward with him. Ran all game too. Loved him chasing down three men in the last few minutes.

I was very impressed by Nimely too. His speed and vision was fantastic. Think we need to see a bit more of him before we start raving, but if we can find someone to kick home those beautiful flick ons then I reckon he's a very special signing. Great performance by all of the lads though.

Loved his pass to Christie near the end of 2nd half, credit to the keeper for the save from Christie's shot, he did well to get the ball to Bell for the cross for the third and really unlucky not to get a second when Bell found him with a Beckhamesque pass,, shot just to close to keeper. Great debut, hope he can keep it up.

Cant disagree with that TCG. Glad he kept this one quiet so no other clubs got hold of him. Boro obviously didnt use him the way they should.

Definately one for the future (and Rigobert Song agrees apparently as he tweeted it from Cameroon. Wonder if thats another hoax account)

He never got a chance at Boro and he was played on the wing.

He is a striker.

Amazing what happens when a player plays in the right position! :claping hands:

Mcsheffery look very dangerous today also, looked a different player than at the start of the season.

Platt held the ball up sensationally well also, won everything.

Nimley, RAN AT THE DEFENDERS! Seems a long time since we have seen that!
Quick very cheeky and a great touch.

He didn't score in 10 for Middlesbrough, but him apparently only starting one game and playing most of his spell as a winger tells you how misleading bare stats can be. I couldn't give a shit how he played for any other team so long as he plays for us like he did today.

I loved the way he kept coming deep to win the ball-he did it 7 or 8 times! It's not like the Boro players didn't know about him, but they looked terrified of him by the end. His passing and vision was absolutely immaculate, and his pass for the first goal was first time, at tempo, which made the chance. Him, Sheff and Platt were tireless all game and looked like they'd been playing together for years. And some of the bits of skill by Nimely, best of all the trick by the byline..wow. That was so good it brought tears to my eyes!

bring on Blackpool, then Ipswich, bring the lot of them on.
I wish my fellow skyblues fans a happy saturday evening.

I can see that, but he has a greater brain than Nuddy ever had already. Nuddy was great, but from the "he doesn't know what he's going to do, so how do the opposition" school.

I think young Alex has slightly, erm, slightly stronger morals than Nuddy, too: no doubt the young ladies of Coventry will try to test that!
