Cov telegraph apparently claiming that as of 09:44am this morning, CCFC has not received a formal offer, not by email nor post.

Our club is so incompetent that they probably don't know how to open their emails anyway..

So an email and a letterheaded copy was sent, and ken doolally says he's had neither. Who's telling the truth here ? Its like a fooking soap opera up there.

Funny how there's always a different story from the club isn't it. Also, 9:44?! My post doesn't normally come till 1!

The amount of shit the postmen do, before posting letters nowadays is stupid. A year ago, my postman came at 9 on the dot. Now he comes at like 4 in the afternoon, if not later...

rant over.

As of Friday I am off on holiday for a week ......... frankly I cannot wait to get away from all this boardroom /new investor crap. Doubt GH will be willing to make the offer good enough and the board will continue with the silly games.

Am heartily sick and tired of this saga. This is just pathetic.

This really is getting comical now.

You can understand them bickering over financial matters but no letterheaded paper? no email? the postman didn't come with it? only at CCFC!

I have no idea what to believe but could this be the board trying to turn us against Hoffman by claiming he is a liar?
Hoffman and his investors will soon lose interest because of the boards constant messing around, we will be relegated and then the board will have achieved what they obviously have set out to do since the start of the season.

I'm a postman and if they get their post at the end of the round it could be about 1 or 2 before they get it so wouldn't panic just yet

I think the current board are just trying to discredit Hoffman, but in fact they are the ones that look like children arguing over toys.

Pathetic!!! Thought these were businessmen...

What if the club and SISU genuinely haven't received it? Or will we just refuse to believe it as many of us have our head so firmly up Gary Hoffman's arse?

Like OSB, I'm sick and tired of reading so much about this proposed takeover but lets be honest, nothing has actually happened. Read 20 pages of stories about it, zero has actually happened let alone progressed.

Time for us fans to concentrate on supporting the team. The attendance on Saturday against Watford was shocking.

What a silly thing to say. Yes we all know SISU are the incarnation of the devil but if you genuinely thinkg they are going "well why haven't we received this post from a foreign country within one day, how ludicrous!" then you're acting a wee bit silly.

One would imagine it would either be going to the Ricoh or the SISU headquaters in Cockney town.

Whilst we are on the subject, I miss the days I used to get the post before going to work.

Nope, but I'm sure if you pay me my expenses for plane travel, 5 star hotel, spending money for beer, sangria and whatever food those Portuguese folk are famous for, I'm sure I could drop it off.

I'm such a good samaritan.

Oh and if you're feeling charitable yourself, I'll fly business class please.

Perhaps it wasn't on letter headed paper, so they had no idea who it was from.
