For those participating in the NOPM campaign but attend away games, I'm sure the club receive 5% of ticket sales for away games. That equates to £1 on a £20 ticket, which is 99p more than NOPM!

I think, could be wrong, that the % the away team receive is on the condition its them selling it. Buying direct from the home club negates the middle-man (in our case, SISU)... I think anyway

I'm tempted to say "Breaking news" - though I'll avoid the capital letters and irritating overuse of exclamation marks.

I'll settle for correcting your maths and pointing out that it's actually 100p more than NOPM.

And your point is...?

And if Timmy's BBC spokesperson Master SL is correct (He said this Saturday) the club get nothing. Not even 5%

I take it none of you will be going to old Trafford when we draw them in the FA Cup?

Just to freshen things up, couldn't we have:

I take it none of you will be going to Anfield when we draw them in the FA Cup? or even

I take it none of you will be going to Stamford Bridge when we draw them in the FA Cup?

It'd just make it a bit less repetitive.

FWIW I agree with the OP. NOPM, KCIC, staying away from Sixfields in protest, etc but still attending away games doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't have a go or anything, but just doesn't make sense. Boycotting the lot me.

That's the true NOPM spirit mate..

You should be proud of it, I couldn't even hold the stance up until Crawley Away..

I go to away games because if I didn't I might find someting else to do on a matchday like all my friends have over the years.

I give them money for the away coaches, so another 5% of 'x' amount for tickets doesn't really bother me!

I go to away games, because its like any other teams 'away' game; its always going to be away from home.

I still want to support my team, and away games are the only way imo

Im doing away games. Been Shrewsbury and Crawley, and I am going Port Vale and Stevenage. Wolves is the big one after that.

Not doing 'home' games, don't see why I should travel 30 miles to watch us play a home fixture.

That said, I may change my mind if SISU start to build a new stadium.

Can't wait for the weekend, bring on Colchester and my son will be joining me! If it's half as good as the first two, it'll be GREAT. PUSB
