Not heard anything other than Smurthwaite, ex season ticket holder and apparently City fanatic and Port Vale owner has put Vale up for sale, don't know much about him to be honest and probably not the equivalent of a wish for Arab sheik or Russian oiligart but would he be interested in our Sky Blues and if so would he welcome ?

So that Is five clubs now for sale in the West Midlands I think.
Not much chance of any takers if the others are anything to go by

Got to love any owner of a football club who managed to find his way to the comment section of the Telegraph to talk about the City. Hats off to him.

Winding up order against them May 2014. Creation of a new company to take on the football club and have the league share transferred to it, shedding the other companies surrounding it to make it more transparent... sound familiar?

On the plus side, a fan of keeping them at Vale Park, rather than moving them to a ground on the outskirts of town, near a motorway...

Sounds to me if Port Vale are on the crap and he just wants out, apparently some scrotes beat him up knocking a couple of teeth out. Read he made is money in to property, aren't our sponsors Alsopp/Alsopp in that game ? Maybe a link, just wishful thinking like

They just seem to be common or garden estate agents in this country, with expensive stuff in UAE.
I guess they diversified in case UAE becomes .. ermmm less comfortable, very wise.

Birmingham bit of a basket case
Port Vale climbing yet stalling for want of Investment
You'd think Robbie Williams would pitch In
WBA well run, players taking all the money
Wolves big potential, no debt that we know of
Finally Villa huge potential again players taking far too much of the pie,.
Is the price to high, plenty of assets as far as I know and staying up worth £100m,maybe those Interested are playing hardball.

west brom the owners wants more than £150 million and Villa wants £200 million ish mad money but you would buy Villa first.

Port vale too many teams in a short space for them ever to grow, I think Williams threw them a few quid in the past but why waste your money on a football club.

birmingham are in the madhouse.

With the finances of TV deals about to go through the roof for next season you'd be mad to buy Villa until you know what league they will be in. If they drop out this year they would probably be fucked.

They have massive potential a ground they own and will have the parachute payments to help them get back and a prolific goal scorer in Agbonlahor OK the last bit is rubbish.

I would swap SISU for a chocolate bar. A chocolate bar would run our club better.
Careful Astute - those Heroes might turn out to be Kinder Flakey and might end up appointing Melton Mowbray instead of our Tony - interesting Topic though.
