Reportedly. Be a shame if so. With the inflation at the top end of the market this will filter down. Luton offloaded two players for £4m+ recently. If Bayliss went for £3m I wonder how much Robins would get to spend.

They should have put a minimum of 5m but maybe he wouldn't re sign. If he stays this season and plays a blinder he could be poached for 3m but he could be worth 10m at that stage

There were people saying we should sell for about £1-2m last season, to get £3m at the time would be quite good. In fact, £3m is still a decent fee for him.

However, we ought to renegotiate that clause if possible if we’re doing well next season!
