They asked him at the fans forum how to pronounce it and yours isn't far off. I was more surprised at the 'Van' which he pronounced as 'Von'it’s hard cos we don’t have some of the sounds like the W and IJ sounds but the following is a direct quote from a native Dutch speaker:
