We have to congratulate the Academy on a job well done.Soon we'll have these talented youngsters breaking through into the first team.
Above is the comment at the bottom of the article which made me laugh. He's only been there 5mins and now its the liverpool academy getting the plaudits for producing this tallent.:jerkit:

The midfielder is currently on loan from Coventry City after impressing Liverpool scouts during a series of promising displays for their first-team as well as England U17s.
He made his full debut for the Sky Blues in an FA Cup clash with Birmingham City and is one of the most highly rated youngsters in the country.
Here he tells us about his head-to-head with former Arsenal star Alexander Hleb and why he hopes to pick up some finishing tips from Robbie Fowler.
Best individual moment in a match?
It has to be playing first-team football for Coventry. I got to play against Birmingham City in the FA Cup so that has to be the best experience I've had so far. I came up against Alexander Hleb and he's played for Barcelona and Arsenal - I was pinching myself a bit then.
Stadium you'd love to play in?
I love the look of the new Wembley but Real Madrid's Bernabeu would be a dream to play in too.
Which other team's results do you look out for?
I always look out for Coventry because that's where I've come from. If we are talking about teams outside of England then I like to keep an eye on Barcelona.
First football shirt owned?
I think it was an England home shirt that came out ahead of a World Cup. I had the No.8 on the back.
Who do you model your game on?
There are a few midfielders that I admire. Obviously Steven Gerrard is up there. He's a fantastic player. I also like Paul Scholes and Jack Wilshere. I think Jack's done really well this season. He has a real style to the way he plays the game.
What are your main strengths?
Passing and keeping the ball. I'm also good at getting up and down the pitch.
Areas you can improve?
I could score some more goals. I think midfielders need to do that. Robbie Fowler has been training with us recently and he certainly knows how to finish. He's still got it - hopefully I can pick up a few things from him.
Last album downloaded?
Fame by Chris Brown, it's quite decent.
Last film watched?
The Town. It was very good. It's about bank robbers. I watched it on the way to our game at Aston Villa and I'd definitely recommend it.
Worst dresser?
I have to think about this. To be fair there aren't too many bad ones. Deale Chamberlain came in the other day with some awful shoes on. They were like clown shoes. The lads gave him plenty of stick for that so I'll nominate him.
Worst taste in music?
I'm not sure. Everybody has their own taste. Normally we have Saric's music on. There's quite a bit of hip hop in there. Some people love it, some people hate it. I think it's okay. I'm quite easy going when it comes to music.
Best mate in the squad?
I get on with most of the lads. I'm quite close to Suso so I'll say him.
Funniest teammate?
I'll have to say Suso again. Some of his comments are brilliant. Obviously he's still learning English so every now and then he comes out with a classic line where he has got a word confused. It's the way he says it too. He's just a very funny lad.
Teammate who spends longest in the mirror?
I'll probably say Mendy. He's got a good physique and likes to admire himself!
Most skilful teammate?
That's probably between Suso and Alex Cooper. Coops loves doing stepovers. We were doing some two v two drills the other day and he was producing plenty of them. He has good feet.
Best ever player in your position?
That's a tough one. It's betweenXavi and Iniesta for me.
Best thing about playing for LFC?
The sheer size of the club. Coming in here every day and training here is great. The facilities are brilliant. It's very different to what I was used to at Coventry. There I was with the first team so the emphasis was naturally on getting three points. Here it's more about development. Training is all about possession. The facilities are great and I'm enjoying it. I'm hoping to make the move permanent. We'll get to the summer and see what happens then

We brought on a young kid with great talent. LIverpool will make him into the player.
Thats not a dig at our academy system, I have been to watch the U18's play and was impressed by them. However instead of putting pressure on young lads to train with the first team and get three points Liverpool can nurture talent and instill the good habits a young player needs. We seem to develop to U18's and have no decent connected nurturing plan to develop those players into the first team properly. The young lads that do come through here are expected to be the finished article as soon as they make the first team squad which is ludicrous. We dont have or create time for them to develop.
Look at Cameron, he should not have had to play so many games this season but plenty of fans slate him as rubbish. He is 19 stepped up from U18's to non league at Nuneaton to first team Championship in a year ! You tell me how many of the players in our squad or even the Championship are equipped to do that ? He started off well but all young players dip, but because of injuries, poor squad and even poorer performances has suffered when really he should have been taken out of the firing line a long time ago. It is worrying that instead of nurturing a good young talent we are working on destroying his confidence and his ability to use his talent. Reminds me of another centerback who we miss and has this year been at one stage the best rated player in the division - Ben Turner. All and sundry used to berate his performances but now he is a hero. Give the young talent opportunities, nurture their talent and give them time to develop properly.
We need our young talent, they need a proper path that develops them to their potential not burns them out with the pressure of survival. We need to retain that talent, yes some will get sold to finance the club its fact of life but lets see the benefit in the first team before we sell for a realistic and decent value. Lets make them feel that this is the place to develop their talent and to want to stay. No we will never compete with the lure of Liverpool etc but we dont buy into the talent we bring in, we dont give them a future - hell at one time the academy was about to go! - we dont have the finance to bring in first team players but surely we can plan and finance our own talent. Can't we???????

There is an argument that Turner became the player he is because he was persevered with, even when struggling. He got experience and learnt one heck of a lot (not from "De Zeeeeeuuuuuw, he's behind you!" mind). Even though perhaps our results could have been better if he'd been rested. Likewise, I think Cameron will be twice the player nest season for his experience this time round. Lukas, too.
