I read that too and remember Styles had Saka in a bear hug.… about media bias - as it’s usually eye of the beholder stuff but the BBC report of the West Brom game is a joke. Written almost exclusively about WBA with barbs about larger CBS crowds for Chelsea, Wasps and Bruce Springsteen; a very peculiar gripe about Rudoni “getting away with a foul” in the lead up to Kitchin’s header and this about Sakamoto-Styles…
“ It then got even worse for Albion when Styles was perhaps a bit harshly sent off for second yellow card for his challenge on Sakamoto as the pair tried to outmuscle each other on the touchline and the Japanese winger went to ground.”

What was he whining aboutStyles clearly deserved a 2nd yellow for that wrestle. Clear as day. The Sky commentators said it right off. 100% a yellow card.
Crying that he didn't get a decent move to the Sky Blues unlike the rest of the Barnsley Boys. What was he whining about
Haha fucking hell, you’re on fire this weekendFuck the BBC, full of absolute cunts and I say that as someone who used to work there which is only one notch less embarrassing than admitting to being a nonce and two less than admitting to being a Championship referee.
I mean considering we’re now Frank Lampards Coventry City, I don’t think we’re one to talk about media bias. Sky love us.
you only have to look at that graphic a few weeks back showing the top 6 of the championship… the three managers at the top were Parker, Farke… and Frank Lampard. Didn’t Down well in Sheffield
Personally I thought his rugger tackle on Saka was very good. Would be better if those that target him were always as obvious. The part of the report referring to the 2nd yellow as "harsh" is ridiculous. Style broke up an attacking play and hauled Sakamoto to the ground after Sakamoto had out-skilled him again. It should always get a yellow for breaking up attacking play, nothing harsh about it. Styles is an idiot, didn't need to do it and did it straight after we had got our 2nd. I imagine Mowbray was fuming with him as it cost them any chance of a comeback
aye, Wilder is far too ugly for tv graphicsProbably didn't want a manager who kicks off on the pitch with opposing players and who has a head like a potato
Where does Bobby Madley fit, as he's a ref who shags his dog? Is that higher or lower?Fuck the BBC, full of absolute cunts and I say that as someone who used to work there which is only one notch less embarrassing than admitting to being a nonce and two less than admitting to being a Championship referee.
We all hate Sky Sports and the BBC, we all hate Sky Sports and the BBC!Fuck the BBC, fuck the BBC, fuck the BBC!
If we're being honest, he was lucky to get away with a 2nd yellow on a foul on Rudoni. He was walking a tight rope, and how anyone, even with the thickest shade of west brom tinted glasses, can say anything other than it was a second bookable offence is deluded, mentally unwell, or both.Styles clearly deserved a 2nd yellow for that wrestle. Clear as day. The Sky commentators said it right off. 100% a yellow card.
Top notch commentary team! Always spot on with their player recognitionFortunately BBC CWR is pretty good
Yet according to some they're a Palestinian/Arab PR group.Politically the BBC has been half way up Israel’s arse for years so footy distortion is pretty tame tbf. Certainly a hugely discredited institution atm.
I don’t get the bbc hateYet according to some they're a Palestinian/Arab PR group.
So if both sides are complaining of bias, chances are you're probably relatively impartial.

Other outlets peddled that narrative way more than the BBC. And to be honest there were anti-Corbyn elements of the Labour party that wanted to push that narrative as much as anyone. Sometimes Corbyn wasn't media savvy enough to defend against it. Meanwhile Tories with anti-Islamic tendencies just wasn't investigated and so there was nothing to report other than repeat endlessly that the Tories hadn't investigated. That wasn't going to hold the public interest whereas a report stating there was anti-semitism in the Labour party was, especially among right wing sympathisers. Sadly often the public perception is skewed by things like that.
I suppose you still think that eight years ago the Labour Party was riddled with pro Putin antisemites….the lie that the BBC peddled relentlessly….
Keunsberg, Maitlis and the entire BBC hierarchy could not countenance a genuine left wing govt and undermined it at every opportunity, but you’re right, every major media platform was complicit in the same witch-hunt including the neolib bastards currently ‘running’ the show.Other outlets peddled that narrative way more than the BBC. If you want to know my opinions at that time look up what I've said about Laura Kuenssberg. I definitely thought she was putting a Tory slant on her reporting. But that doesn't mean the entire BBC news was biased.
