The match report did read pretty amateurish more than anything else. Very much like if you’d asked a fan for a summary than something objective.

Tony Mowbray’s assessment though was pretty matter of fact and fair.

Lads the BBC is den or secret right wing pricks but there's the off topic forum for that

Keunsberg, Maitlis and the entire BBC hierarchy could not countenance a genuine left wing govt and undermined it at every opportunity, but you’re right, every major media platform was complicit in the same witch-hunt including the neolib bastards currently ‘running’ the show.
DAMN! How foolish were we to have missed the opportunity to vote in a genuine left wing government?
What could we have missed out on?

The part of the report referring to the 2nd yellow as "harsh" is ridiculous. Style broke up an attacking play and hauled Sakamoto to the ground after Sakamoto had out-skilled him again. It should always get a yellow for breaking up attacking play, nothing harsh about it. Styles is an idiot, didn't need to do it and did it straight after we had got our 2nd. I imagine Mowbray was fuming with him as it cost them any chance of a comeback

It was genuinely one of the dumbest 2nd yellow cards I’ve seen.

Styles had two arms round Saka and bundled him over. Not the worst I’ve seen but you are asking for a card doing that. When on a yellow already (having also got away with one), it’s utter madness and the bloke then gives it the old victim routine afterwards….

Whatever you think of the BBC, it’s unlikely they’d come up with that. Their funding has been stripped down. They don’t have reporters for many of these games and as you can see from the article, it’s outsourced to PA media and nobody’s sense checked it.
