Hamer had 1 year left tho. O hare down to mere months.£15m seemed obscenely high for Hamer too, given the circumstances.
Could be a bidding war and a team is particularly desperate to secure him.
A team like Southampton may not be a preferred destination in free agency - they might not get promoted.
There’s zero certainty they’d get him for free this jumps them to the top of the listWhy would Southampton pay 15 million when they can get him for free at the end of the season.
Did you forget the full stop? 1.5m I can see as a cheeky bid to start conversations£15 million bid from Southampton, O'hare has refused our offer, he will be off in January.
If I'm wrong I won't post again or I'll kill my source.

I don't know if his names Billy but he's almost certainly bullshitting, in all honesty they may have made a bid in an effort to get to the player before those who are waiting to get him on a free.Is he billy bullshitting
Because they want automatic promotion? They also have megamillions available having sold players + parachute money. However, 15m seems too good to be true. Why would Southampton pay 15 million when they can get him for free at the end of the season.
Oh dear past your bedtimeFuck off
I think we should measure all future transfers in 'Sakamotos'£15M? That's over 7 Sakamoto's.
£15m from a business perspective will be difficult to turn down and DK will snap their hands off.Wouldn’t sell him for 15m, season over.
Leicester want 40 million5 million now and an extra 6 million of they go up seems fair and would be small money to a club going into the top flight.
I still think the Leicester link has most legs Dewsbury Hall might be leaving for 30m and Leciester could spend a third of that to replace him with COH.
Wouldn’t sell him for 15m, season over.
Even more reason they can pay us 10m + for his replacement.Leicester want 40 million
The season was over when we sold, this season will be over if we sell now.Like last season? Lighten up FFS.
Really? I think promotion would be worth a lot more than 15m. With O’hare you have a shot of that, without him we are like that second half last night.£15m from a business perspective will be difficult to turn down and DK will snap their hands off.
The season was over when we sold, this season will be over if we sell now.
Who did we sell in Jan last year?Like last season? Lighten up FFS.
Who did we sell in Jan last year?
I am close to somebody at the club who says we are interested and one of your previous posters said our players were in his ear, so
maybe there is some truth.
Viewing my previous posts you will see I am not a WUM, but personally think he will carry on with you until the summer and don’t blame him if he does.
Last season was different. We had the best striker and best midfielder in the division. We didn't have much more though. Now we have quality right through the side. We will make the playoffs if he stays until the end of the season or leaves now. We are already starting to make a gap between us and those below us.He's saying the season's over without O'Hare. I'm pointing out that the opposite was true last season.
You had Hamer and gyokeres last year, Ohare is the only X factor we have this year. He's saying the season's over without O'Hare. I'm pointing out that the opposite was true last season.
We don’t have quality through the side that’s deluded. We have players we own over last year yes. Once we loose creativity we are bang average. If we sell Ohare and the inevitable happens when palmer gets injured mid table.Last season was different. We had the best striker and best midfielder in the division. We didn't have much more though. But would be great to have O'Hare in the playoffs final at Wembley.
Yep it will be a long time before he gets the chance to go to Wembley again if he leaves Spurs been waiting for yearsLast season was different. The security of having a bumper 3 or 4 year contract agreed and not worrying about the injury too much with the prospect of becoming a free agent?Thing is if he waits he can go to a wider range of clubs knowing what level he’s playing at for a full season, plus all the trimmings of a free signing in terms of wages and signing on fees.
He’s guaranteed first team in a Championship promotion contender and can pick his club if we don’t go up (or even if we do), there’s nothing in it for him to sign for anyone right now.
I'm joining the chat late but you've been right with things in the past.£15 million bid from Southampton, O'hare has refused our offer, he will be off in January.
