Wow , really well putI haven't read all the previous stuff so apologies if this has been said but anyway....
I'm assuming those who sacked Robins think that we, Coventry City , are punching below our weight. We've had a poor start but given where Robins has taken us and all the shite he has had to put up with I think he of all people can be forgiven for one indifferent season even though it's still fairly early on .
It begs the question as to where our owner thinks we should be as a club. Ultimately of course we all want to be in the premier league but I'd like to enjoy the journey , quite frankly . When we get there well be there for the likes of the big 5 , nothing else.
I'm shocked by this. The managerial merry go round begins now and it'll become a revolving door just like most other clubs.
I hope Robins has success wherever he goes. He saved this club from oblivion in a way unmatched by any other manager in our history and I will always remember that until my dying day.
Nobody has died.I deleted this before but fuck it: get back to wanking over Dougs hair and leave the 90% of normal fans to mourn would you?
He just doesn’t know footballRichard cares more about the club tha DK ever could .. I'd trust him every day of the week over him too
I'm literally outside walking now
The Eccles/Sheaf thing hasn't worked very well this season, because Sheaf's form dipped and he looked rusty when he came back into the side from injury. The home form in particular just hasn’t been good enough. We’ve lost 4 home games already.
There is a real risk that we’ve been badly exposed to the teams that are defensive and physical.
Eccles and Sheaf being 2 pivots is something that worked last season but looks completely broken this season. Too often, we moving the ball side to side and teams will put 10 men behind the ball and we have no answers. All of our losses, barring Leeds away against Derby, Swansea, Norwich, PNE, Sheff W and Stoke have happened this way. Unable to break teams down.
It really doesn’t help that Robins looks fundamentally unsure of what his best team is.
VR or the Simms doesn’t count sadly

Rhys Carr in charge for Saturday
Fans will get on the players backs so much quicker now , you can already see it happeningThe Simms EA’s new game where you try and keep a pampered underperforming Simmhappy with an endless string of coaches and managers before getting sick of it and drowning him in a pool.
Carrrrŕrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr unt then clap twice and stopShit number of syllables for a manager name. What can you even chant?
Fully in agreement here, I trusted and wanted to believe MR was going to turn it around again.100% but Robins has receipts for when he's turned it around in the past.
How long do you think our now massively entitled fanbase is going to give a new manager? Especially now, DK has reinforced the belief we should be in the playoffs at all times. My bet is that over the next 5-10 seasons we average a manager every 12-18 months.
I hope Grendel has Uber One, with the amount of taxis he'll be calling every couple of games.
You run (poorly) a fans forum, about as virgin as it getsLooks like you're still a virgin then. Gutted for you.

This could be a disasterLiterally the only thing keeping me off their backs was the manager. Same with Doug. Nowhere to hide now. You’ve got what you wanted and it’s all on you.
I'm fairness dom , no issue with you ... this forum is better than most you see reallyYou run (poorly) a fans forum, about as virgin as it gets
I don’t think Eccles has played particularly well either - our results before Sheaf came back were poor. The Eccles/Sheaf thing hasn't worked very well this season, because Sheaf's form dipped and he looked rusty when he came back into the side from injury.

Don't think you will get much for him to be honest. It's Grendel wot did it.
Flog him in Broadgate.
If those fuckers turn up at Sunderland now…
This could be a disaster
Will that be Dr Claire-Marie Roberts fault too?If those fuckers turn up at Sunderland now…
I'm not sure it can be much worse than last night.
Will that be Dr Claire-Marie Roberts fault too?
Everyone thinks this forum is total shite, you’ve got clowns like Nick running it banning people like Boosh who call him out for no reasonI'm fairness dom , no issue with you ... this forum is better than most you see really

I agree with this a lot more. Maybe we changed too much too quickly but it’s keeps getting simplified to being the new coaches/structure is the problem. Simple answers to complex problems. All hyperbole and mourning aside: management isn’t a solved science. We had something that works, like a cat or a romantic relationship there’s no sense in trying to rationalise that by taking it apart for analysis, you’ll just kill it. Appreciate it while it’s in your life.
It’s so rare to find what we had with Robins that you let it run its course and let him guide you. When it’s over sure go with your best guess on what should happen, but to override someone as special as Robins means you have to get it right a lot more often than Douglass does.
