I'm saying he deserved more time how can fans turn their back on the bloke he turned us around and gave us everything ??I don't understand this at all. You're saying there's a 'good' way to sack someone? I'm all ears. Turning on fans and questioning their morals for daring to have an opinion that differs from yours is a slippery slope.
You started the day by predicting us as relegation candidates - that kind of post never helps the cause of the manager. So those words feel kind of hollow.
Was asked to speak about it with Hawksbee and Baker on Talksport if anyone caught it. Can’t tell you how close I was to mention the infamous polls on here and do some national radio call outs
Not happy at all here but as you know i've thought its the right thing for a while, which is an opinion that is rather unpopular with most. Again i'm finding a lot of this hysterical and emotional, it's football, we've been poor. We go on long runs where we are very poor almost as habit. I don't think he'd have survived this long if he wasn't Robins.there’s a few who will be happy, this is what they wanted.
How many games do you give the new manager to make us promotion contenders
The club obviously monitors social media, and the constant shouty calls by a minority on here for Robins to go could easily have been misinterpreted as a groundswell of feeling among the fanbase.
Cheers guys.
I'd say 99% of Cov fans are gutted and the majority of fans from other clubs are surprised.
There's still the odd one or two, inc some on here, who see this as a good thing.
As an aside, just seen Tom Grennan has replied to the CCFC insta post of the sacking calling it a shambles.
Yours have been our for weeks in fairness
the toys are well and truly out the pram aren’t they
Not that complicated, someone has an issue in their life and it can affect their work performance.I don't see how that can be really
Most will not care who attend games after a few weeks
I'm saying he deserved more time how can fans turn their back on the bloke he turned us around and gave us everything ??
If I think that means you're a morally bankrupt fart then that's what I think , I slide down the slope naked I don't care
Do you seriously believe that King has sacked Robins because he had a scroll through here? Even though all the polls had a vast majority of people saying Robisn should say and ‘Mark Robins Sky Blue Army’ and ‘there is only one Mark Robins’ get sung at every game? The club obviously monitors social media, and the constant shouty calls by a minority on here for Robins to go could easily have been misinterpreted as a groundswell of feeling among the fanbase.

I support our club regardless of who runs it or who’s the manager, but you can’t deny his departure marks the end of us being unique among most in the EFL. Hopefully we can push on and achieve what he couldn’t, I have my doubts. In our top 5 managers ever, and hounded out by a bunch of tossers the first time he goes through a crisis. A very dark day for the club.
but he hasn't been given more time. Turning on other fans who can accept and understand the decision isn't going to change anything for anyone. Morals? He'll be getting paid seven figures, I expect. He's not been sent to the gulag.

I said we’re in a relegation battle. That doesn’t mean I think he shouldn’t have had more time to steer us out of it.tbh you have your doubts about everything, one minute saying we should give him until Christmas, then saying we’re going down.
I think most fans will always be pretty sad at how robins was let go , many fans still talk about Eric black who did very little for the club as a manager
I don't know if you're trying to suggest this isn't true....
The players are in training but we're not there when robins got sacked. Staff were in preparing.
So it's happened , how do you assess the robins era after all ?
Fucking hell. The club obviously monitors social media, and the constant shouty calls by a minority on here for Robins to go could easily have been misinterpreted as a groundswell of feeling among the fanbase.

Well I guess we never agreed and still don't but that's the most I've got out of you in 8 yearsI have always said Robins is a very odd manager in that he seems to work best under an unstable and difficult ownership base.
He seems better at motivating and galvanising players who are not established at the level they are used to operating in and a "all together mentality"
The players now have left. He clearly is struggling to galvanise the signings over the last two years. A lot has been spent on players who cannot even get in the team and very few will realise the purchase value at resale let alone make more to spend on new recruits.
Its pretty obvious he has run his course and the ideas are becoming less. I suspect he worked better with a lower league set up and cannot adjust to modern football models.
Timing is odd, statement not that respectful but such is football.

Thankfully after seeing the backlash all over social media , the robins out brigade were genuinley a minority and most of our support isn't morally bankrupt

Playing like this no I don’t. I’ve also said the responsibility for it is shared between players, manager and owner.you were saying you don’t see how we can get enough points to stay up.
Anyway it’s done, people have got what they wanted, for me he goes down as up there with our best ever managers, and the way this has been done is pretty disgraceful. That’s my view.
Suggesting Robins has been sacked because of posts on SBT is just objectively hilariouscan’t even hide the delight, can you.

I wouldn't of thought that less than 9% who voted for MR to be sacked on the BS poll, would influence DK.The club obviously monitors social media, and the constant shouty calls by a minority on here for Robins to go could easily have been misinterpreted as a groundswell of feeling among the fanbase.

You're even more stupid than I thought you were. The club obviously monitors social media, and the constant shouty calls by a minority on here for Robins to go could easily have been misinterpreted as a groundswell of feeling among the fanbase.
