Coventry City's record appearance holding former goalkeeper Steve Ogrizovic has been talking about the FA Cup.

Ogrizoovic, who was also part of the City Reserves management whose team won the Birmingham Senior Cup against Walsall in 2007 as well as the goalkeeper for the team that won the FA Cup on May 16th 1987, told Sky Blue Player: "It is a big thing in the city and I don't think a day goes by without somebody coming up and talking to me about it.

"You never get tired of it because that's why I started playing football when I was a young lad.

"The one thing I always dreamt about was playing in an FA Cup final, it was such a big thing then, far bigger then than it is now, which is a shame.

"We are capable of going on a run, we are a good team, we are well organised and it is a great opportunity for us.

"The cup opens everybody's eyes and it is a relief from playing league football week-in, week-out and it is a great opportunity to go out there beat a Premier League side and goes as far as we can.

"And who knows, Cardiff got there a couple of years ago and we've got to believe we can do the same."
