The sources on here who've said he will likely leave have been pretty much spot on previously. He may leave but folks are pissing their pants over "sources" that have been wrong at virtually every step and SBB having a feeling
All this has fired up again purely on rumour and speculation. Burnley's sale wouldn't have happened over night and I'm sure they were aware of a fee that they had incoming when they were negotiating for O'Hare
Oh come on. Like Sky decide whether Burnley come back in for him. Chill out.
None, cus no fucker would ever of had such a stupid bet! The bookie was quite safe.Wonder how many millionaires he made that day.
Tricky if you don’t think you’ll end up getting the moneyThere's so much straw clutching going on here - unfortunately, if they really want him enough he'll inevitably leave.

Nope I wasn’t. It was whether we are as desperate as was being suggested. Burnley won’t get him offering what and how they areWell don’t sell him then. We don’t need the money I think you were told?
As we get nearer the deadline there's more chance of us caving than them.
That’s reassuring thenNope I wasn’t. It was whether we are as desperate as was being suggested. Burnley won’t get him offering what and how they are
The personal terms are so enormous that very few players would be able to resist if the club wants to sell and get the right price and preferably all the money up frontI don't know if caving is the right word. They'll will offer more. I think he'll go.
I get that but doesn't he also have to think whether this is the right move long term for his career. Is he necessarily a first team regular there, and if not, could this set his career back? I guess it depends how much confidence he has in his ability. The personal terms are so enormous that very few players would be able to resist if the club wants to sell and get the right price and preferably all the money up front
There are exceptions like Gerrard but players at that level are already wealthy enough to refuse even higher offers

Injured or ‘injured’?
Injured or ‘injured’?
Robins taken a baseball bat to his knees to stop SISU from selling him, clearlyNo actually injured for a good while
Haha excellent rumour. Not only do we not have O'Hare playing for us but we don't even get any money cuz he's crocked. No actually injured for a good while
Must of been a late injury as he's in yesterdays training pictures
Yeah, I seriously doubt it’s true. He was training yesterday, and if he got injured they probably wouldn’t know how long he’d be out for already. Its probably bullshit, i dont believe it i think it would have been more well known surely?
That's not my understandingIs it true that O'Hare has already spoken to Burnley but turned down the money and both clubs are trying to save face by saying they can't agree a fee.
I think Robins said they were also training this morning, don’t know origin of this rumour but possible he wasn’t with them todayYeah, I seriously doubt it’s true. He was training yesterday, and if he got injured they probably wouldn’t know how long he’d be out for already.
We’re not a bigger club than them - we haven’t been in the top flight for over 20 years and to a whole generation are a lower league club.Is it Cornet they are selling? If that deal goes through I fear Kompany will be back with an offer we just can't turn down, which would be sad. Really hope we get a few weeks of the season in before any decision is made. We could have a spanking season and be doing better than Burnley. They may have been in the prem but are a smaller club than Coventry and it all depends on prospects really. There is no guarantee Burnley or us will get promoted, so apart from money would O'Hare be better being the key player for us and wait for other clubs to come calling? But you know it's not the end of the world and there's always other players that suddenly seem ireplaceable happen. Football is a funny old game.

For what is a small town and the clubs around them their support is excellent.Historically and today they are a bigger club
All comes down to what people define as a "big club" I guess. My view is around potential fan base etc. I think there's a difference between a big club and successful club even though one does support the other to an extent in terms of reaching its potential. I always argue that if say a town like Fleetwood got to the prem one day, would that suddenly make them a big club? With a town population of 60k, I'd argue they would struggle. But it's all down to opinions and no right or wrong. I think our potential size is much bigger than Burnley's. But there's no doubting that Burnley have been vastly more successful than we have been over last 20 years. We’re not a bigger club than them - we haven’t been in the top flight for over 20 years and to a whole generation are a lower league club.
Didn’t they win the league a couple of times?Historically and today they are a bigger club
Yeah when we were promoted to Div 1 with a quarter of their population turning up to games. Pretty impressive reallyDidn’t they win the league a couple of times?
