If the club can sell players to established premier league clubs who are in the premier league clearly there is an argument to sell as you can get £12 - £15 m easily and if it’s put back into tbe club entirely then there’s a logic
There’s a logic when we sold upwards in lower leagues for the same reason. Of course there is. If you start selling to competitors in your division you’d better players that’s a whole different “model” isn’t it
This I agree with you on. Like when we sold McSheffrey to Blues, just after he had scored the winner against pre season favourites, Sunderland. Blues end up getting promoted, and we probably finished 17th (haven't checked if we did but that's where we always seemed to finish until we got relegated!).
All 3 go and Robbins might as well.
Well we seem to be at first suggesting one may go. Now many seem accepting it could be two so I guess they will now be wondering what the reaction is if it’s 3
All 3 go and Robbins might as well.
Sorry Bugs, I meant if 3 go then Robins may say fuck it I'm off too. We've come close this year, I guess the lack of depth has meant we stuttered when we had key injuries, the unwillingness to invest (and to be fair, it's a business to them not a passion) will crop up again and again. MR would want to give it another go next year but if he loses these three and has to keep rebuilding on a shoestring, why not jump ship if someone else wants to back him properly.Unfortunately Reg can't agree with this obviously i wouldn't want any to go let alone all 3 but another poster touch on think it was Gary Jones, Robins and the coaching staff have developed these players into the players we see now and always had potential, so there will be more unearthed diamonds for us to polish I'm sure and Robins is crucial to that....PUSB
Phrased incorrectly, sorry, please see aboveWhy? It won't be his fault?
Robins has been off every year for the past how many?
If they were after him we would have to demand £10m minimumTottenham regularly scouting O'Hare; he's been compared with Grealish
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly regularly scouting Coventry City playmaker Callum O'Hare ahead of the summer.tbrfootball.com
Looks like a fan site/blog type load of bollocks, although the story originates from the Telegraph.
For what it’s worth I’d say his not at Spurs level but stranger things have happened and he’s still got plenty of room to improve.
He's absolutely no where near Spurs level!!
Spurs is a complete non story. No prem club will take o hare.Im minded to agree. If he were 19 and just had the season he had then yes, but at 24? Surely not. Fair play to him if it happens though.
So it's true thenSo that talk about boddy touting him was bullshit then.
It’s an absolute load of hogwash. We have not had any contact from Norwich regarding Callum O’Hare.”
And as for a £5m price tag, he added: “We don’t put price tags on our players’ heads. That’s not how we do business.”
