Disgruntled Sky Blue

Down through the years looking at the league table has always been a straight forward, if not fearful, affair. I'd start at the bottom and it wouldn't take long to find us hovering around the relegation line. Then the extensive calculations would begin by looking at the upcoming fixtures and working out the points needed to climb above or stay away from the relegation line.

The calculations often involved heart ruling head; unrealistic results from other relegation candidates, snookers, and tearful prayers when all hope for even the most optimistic had gone! So it is with some shock I find myself taking a while to find us at the top of the table.

City! At the top of the table! In late November!!

My heart can't take that kind of information so I've turned the league table upside down and I now find that strangely comforting!

It's going to take a little while to enjoy our new found success and I keep wondering if I took the red pill by mistake and still in some sort of Matrix reality!

This time last year, Notts County were 6th and were relegated, on the bright side, Bristol City only had 36 points so league winners here we come this is a new bright era

50 points usually keeps you up in this league. Four wins and a draw from our next 28 games should do it
Still sweating..
