We
We've had some crap ones , Scott Shearer comes to mind.
I always rated Charles-cook more than Burge. I agree with Murphy and before him Westwood. But even before them we had a season with Shearer, Steele and Bennett. GK has been a problem position as a whole for years with one or two exceptions such as Murphy and Westwood
I did too. I was surprised MR got rid of RCC rather than Burge, who was fucking hopeless.I always rated Charles-cook more than Burge. I agree with Murphy and before him Westwood. Oggy always used to get the blame but there doesn’t seem to have been a huge improvement since he left and we’ve had more than one goalkeeping coach since thenI always put the shite keeping down to Oggy coaching them
The best thing he did to keep his legendary status was not play a 4th or 5th game etc.Stockdale for those2-3 games was the best imo commanding keeper!!

We really need a Old Trafford style statue with him, Chris Whyte & Mick Harford.
Plus Yakubu placed aimlessly in front of them
Was he emergency keeper when Burge got injured? The difference was night and day - I still wanted him when we got promoted and he went to WycombeStockdale for those2-3 games was the best imo commanding keeper!!

And yet only one of the two has actually played in the football league consistently since they left
This isn't one im familiar with, what happened? From that particular era i tend to remember Fabien Debec as our worst keeper. I don't know if they all seemed worse coming off the back of the Oggy, Hedman, Kirkland era but i also dont thiNk any of them went on to do anything poSt-CCFCBurge was up there with the likes of Scott Shearer, that pre-season own goal in Spain when he just walked off summed him up perfectly.
Yes one of those get out of the way it’s my f in ball keeper, we haven’t had one in years!!Was he emergency keeper when Burge got injured? The difference was night and day - I still wanted him when we got promoted and he went to Wycombe
And the following week he punched a Stoke corner into the net. That was the end for him.Ah, the hapless Raddy Avramobic. I remember the Watford keeper kicking the ball upfield and him letting it bounce over his head into the net. Embarrassing!
He played 18 times apparently. Didn't realise he was given that longAnd the following week he punched a Stoke corner into the net. That was the end for him.
Marosi was fine until Cardiff broke his faceI liked Joe Murphy a lot. Didn't actually think Marosi was that bad
Bob Wesson wasn’t that bad as wellThe best by far - Bill Glazier
Nuzzo wasn’t the best and Debec was equally bad.
I knew a keeper at the club and he said Oggy was a good coach.
Best we have ever had, mind you he was signed for a world record fee of £35000The best by far - Bill Glazier
Glazier was excellent, but (IMHO) there wasn’t much to choose between him and Blyth.Best we have ever had, mind you he was signed for a world record fee of £35000
Bobby Gould absolutely slaughtered him in a post match Interview, saying he'll never play for the club again. And the following week he punched a Stoke corner into the net. That was the end for him.

Was Nuzzo part of the time Inter Milan were meant to be our feeder club? Think so
