Hi all,

Leyton Orient fan here in peace.

Firstly, well done for surviving last season. Mowbray said he'd keep you up and you ended up doing it pretty comfortably, just a shame our manager was such a clown. I thought we had stuck you right in the mire when we beat you 1-0 but it was all downhill for us from there and you kicked on so fair play.

Onto what you guys will want to read:

I did a double take at work this afternoon, quietly repeating 'no' under my breath when I read this news. I'm so gutted because you guys have got yourself a real player here. I read the other thread and thought I would post one because a lot of your fans don't seem to know a lot about him so here I thought I'd fill you in.

Quite honestly, on his day- you will not find a better defensive mid around at this level. Works like an absolute dog, just snapping away and hounding opponents. He's one of those players where even you play like shite- he'll end up getting the honoray man of the match award because he's put a shift in. Will literally never give in and he epitomised our infamous playoff run the season before last. He's also very handy in the air. It doesn't hurt that he's a very good guy too. Arguably our most popular player amongst the squad and never shied away from meeting fans- on a side note, his English is perfect (just in case there were some doubts)

On the minus side- he hasn't played for us since March because he had a horrible injury and most Os fans thought he was pretty poor in general last season. I hope for your sake he hasn't peaked but the only other major negative I would say is that I believe (could be wrong) he only actually ever scored 1 goal for us (and in fact, I was there- a nice header from a corner). Never been one to get goals but that's not really why he'll be in your team.

So gutted to see him go and wish him the best at the SkyBlues!

Scoring only 1 goal from midfield is pretty normal here.

Shame the way last season went after the success of the previous year, much chance of coming straight back up now that Liverani has been replaced with Hendon?

Thanks for dropping by Jamie and sorry for pinching your best player, doesn't happen to us very often. The shoe is usually on the other foot!

You appear to echo what the majority of your fellow fans are saying on social media. Your loss certainly appears to be our gain.

All the best for the coming season!

Thanks for taking the time to come.on here Jamie. Nice to know we are getting a player that is highly thought of elsewhere. I can't remember the last time that happened!

Good luck next season.

This is how football fans should be, we all want our teams to do well but at the end of the day its just a game of football not a war thanks for the great insight and good luck to your club unless they are playing us :)
