Cheers fella, no worriesI've missed these every week. Thank you for the effort put in
Giving this a bump after seeing a few comments on other threads around points needed for autos/playoffs...could we get this updated for this season? Found it very handy last year @SkyBlueSoul
Have feeling that Champions will be 84+ and Autos 80+ no one broke away which has notmally happened by now!I was going to say give me until the weekend because I'm busy but forgot how great I am at procrastination. Et voila! It's the same as last year re line colours etc but to recap:
Green - Champions
Orange - Autos
Yellow - Play-offs
Red - Relegation
Blue - CCFC
The total points for each position are the average needed over the last 15 years. Because of Bury's absence I've taken the average, divided it by 46 to get average points per game, then multiplied it by 44 to get the average for a 44 game season. That makes sense to me but if someone sees an error in that method, feel free to correct me!

I think you could be pretty bang on. Rotherham are top with 1.8PPG at the minute and would need 2PPG to hit 84 points which seems about right now they've hit their strideHave feeling that Champions will be 84+ and Autos 80+ no one broke away which has notmally happened by now!

Thought it was about time we had another one of these after the brilliant run has continued. I'll try and work on the suggestion in the previous post for next time.
Obviously it's not looking like 90 points will be needed to win the league but I'll stick to these averages for now. General consensus seems to be that 84/85 will be enough, smack bang in between the green and orange lines which is where we are! Even if you do go by these averages, we need roughly 17 points from the last 11 to get 2nd.

We are 1 point behind last seasons total with 13 less games played... How's that for a stat
25 points ahead of what we finished with the season we went down.
We are 4 wins off our highest ever points tally... Also achieved by Sir Mark Robins
If we win the next game we will be on 67 points.
Draw it and we will be on 65 points. Lose it and we will remain on 64 points.
We almost didso all we need to do is win 6 of our next 5 games and we're sorted...
WhiteI think the graph is really useful. What colour is Godden?
Wow....If we lost every game from now until the end of the season it would still be the least amount of league defeats in a season in 23 years.
What a horrible thought tbh
