Most of their support travels a long way to get to home games. They have free transport ATM. But when this stops will they still have so many attend? We have many that travel 100 miles to most home games. But most wouldn't. Will be the same with the Wasps supporters in the next few seasons. So they will have to get a large amount of support from Coventry and the surrounding area. Not sure if it will happen.
Thing is that at this moment in time they are bigger club.
So even if they give away 50% of their tickets there are takers for them!!
City to my horror can't give them away even with a drink and pie thrown in.
only a few of us left now who can even bother going to games, nothing to do with NOPM or any of that other shit people just can't be bothered any more.
So give the customer what he wants and he will come ignore him and well we can see the outcome.
Oh and as for heritage I believe the wasps have been going longer then us even with there gypsy like tenancies:thinking about:
BTW I don't follow the Wasps just looking at the present facts like them or not.
What people should be asking is why the licence payer are funding bbc staff to travel to Newcastle to commentate on a London franchise teams game on DAB
I would never normally agree with anything Grendel says but on this rare occasion I have to agree with this one.
Even though I am a massive Rugby fan I did not listen to the game but I understand it was a 23-23 draw.
Went to pick up a curry last night and still had CWR on the radio from the phone in and listened to about 2 minutes commentary from Eakin and the good news is he knows even less about rugby than football.
