This is something we, as a fan base, should be very encouraged about. It's easy to lose sight of the obvious.
I believe MR is a forward thinker, unlike Mowbray, and will not stubbornly adhere to tactics that simply don't pan out.
It's very easy for us to analyse every element of the season in anxiety, but we have to realise this is a grotty, dire league at times and we'll be out-grotted a few times.
The only thing I am slightly unhappy with, with Mark Robins is the lack of subs when it seems abundantly clear from the stands that things need changing.
I agree to a point but when Devon made his debut I thought he was odds on to be replaced especially after going down with cramp but then popped up with a goal
Definitely should have made a substitution earlier today and same too last Saturday.
If we maintain the points per game we have at the moment yes we will - we've beaten Notts county and Exeter two of the front runners and have 10 points from the last 12.
If we maintain as we are now we will get play offs.
With a goalscorer this team could win the league.
I salute you sir, for using a phrase that manages to be both nonsensical and perfectly understandable - 'out-grotted' - my new favourite word!
If we maintain as we are now we will get play offs.

It's true. After last season's debacle we have a defensive unit that support each other if players find themselves out of position and a goalkeeper who has the confidence to do the simple things. We have an attack that create chances. They all put a shift in yesterday and although I was disappointed with the result, I was happy enough to applaud them off the pitch. I think some of us are too quick to push the panic button. Biamou is still finding his feet, Mcnulty has just come back from injury and Ponticelli is knocking on the door.We don't need to change anything. We haven't lost since August and concede virtually nothing - the defence is hardly troubled and we have as much chance as any as it stands of promotion.
Nazon and Jones are X factor players who make goals for themselves out of nothing. Will the winter pitches make a difference to us? Jones has often been our only outlet and I can see his game taking a dip when he's running through treacle and there's no guarantee we'll have Nazon after January. No we will get promoted on the points per game we have - some teams will remain in the form and some won't.
We have a goalscorer - his name is Nazon
His goals per minutes on the pitch is better than Collins, Reid, Kee, afinkenwa and Norris. Barnet have a striker whose scored more goals than him - I wouldn't swap.

Every team above us has a striker who has scored more goals than any of ours. It is a simple as that.
I would swap him for anyone of those strikers if they would be ours.
The Duck as it stands goes back in 3 months time.
Its not a goal scorer we lack more a central midfielder or another winger who can unlock defences. Its all too reliant jodi Jones. Baker would have been ideal.
People are too hung up on a 20 goal a season striker. On current strike rate, we have one - Nazon.

Correct all but one poster can see we have
What happens after his loan deal expires?
Who do you think will score more this season, Nazon or Collins ?

Collins has consistently done the business.
I like the Duck he is exciting ad raw. However I don't think he is an 20 goal plus striker abd I don't like that we will be relying on Wolves allowing us to extend his stay here.
Collins has scored 4 in the last 11 nazon 4 in the last 5 and Collins goal average over his career often shows seasons of low return.
He has scored 1 in 2 or 1 in 3 for every club he played for apart from Hibs.
We either extend his loan or replace him in January. We can't sign anyone who iant unattached until then anyway. What happens after his loan deal expires?
No he didn't at Shrewsbury or Darlington either but whatever

We were happy with relying on Newcastle to extend Armstrongs loan.Collins has consistently done the business.

Shrewsbury 60 starts 20 goals.
Darlington 5 starts 2 goals
Been saying it for 2-3 seasons now that if we want to progress players like Haynes,Willis,Burge,Stevenson et al will not take us forward (enough). A bit worrying that we agree that they have "found their level" in L2 so in a nutshell if we go up they again won't be up to the job?Maybe L2 is his level? Just thinking aloud that it might be an option for us. Certainly prefer Stokes at LB.
Oh it's "starts" now is it?
Well that's bollocks anyway unless he's made 70 sub appearances for Shrewsbury - he's played for them twice you idiot
Marc mcnultys goals per starts is 1 in 2 for most clubs he played for previously - 10 in 13 starts at sheff united
Dongle talking nonsense again.
He did play for them twice and scored 22 in 66 first time round you numpty 1 in 3
