Going to be well bollexed playing at 3pm and 7:30pm same day
Bit negative there, Steve. What about the automatics?
is that so they will get 40k+ Cov fans on the bank holiday??? nice little earner for EFL.
Yeah, but they could temporarily vacate the club like they did for the Checkatrade final in order to allow everyone to attend.Fans are too emotionally damaged by SISU to turn up in those numbers at Wembley

Interesting stats Steve thanksSome interesting stats from the playoffs
Lincoln fans won’t fancy the playoffs route having been involved in league two play offs 5 times consecutively and failed every time.
They were beaten finalists in 2003, 2005 and semi final losers in 2004, 2006 and 2007.
7th place is the best play off spot! Those sides have the best trend over the last decade having won promotion the most times in the last 10 seasons.
3 times in the last 5 seasons has the side finishing 7th been promoted and 5 times in the last 10. 6th place is the worst spot over 10 seasons
Sides promoted from league standings

Whoopee! If we finish 7th, we stand a better chance of promotion AND we get to keep our record intact!! You know, the one where we haven't finished in the top 6 in any league for 48 bleedin' years! Some interesting stats from the playoffs

On safety grounds they can only give 300. Not sure where you expect them to magic the rest from. Will Exeter still be allowed to only allocate 300 tickets to away fans in the playoffs or will it be like a cup match where you have to allocate 15%?
Rent Exeter chief's ground for the day. There would be absolute chaos because you know thousands of cov will turn up.On safety grounds they can only give 300. Not sure where you expect them to magic the rest from.
Remember Barnsley couple years ago in league 1. They were bottom in October November . Lost something like 10 in a row.including that game when we won 4-3 (joe Cole free kick). They then stormed into 7th place and won play offs easy.Of those that finished 7th and got promoted, how many were teams that finished strong to secure a play off place and came into the play offs with form or were they teams that were stuttering like us? I don't know for league two, but I seem to remember that happening in the championship when we were there.

You jest, but I didn't go to the Checkatrade final and I wouldn't bother to go to this-but I would have done before we went to Northampton. You're actually talking about the "glory" fans who have been to less than a dozen games since 87 I think...Fans are too emotionally damaged by SISU to turn up in those numbers at Wembley

Thanks that's really intereting, so Bradford is probably the closest to our seasons form. Shows how difficult Wimbledon had it, had to win 4 and draw 1 of their last 5 just to maintain 7th. Even Dagenham who started in the top 7, dropped off mid season to find form going into the last run of games. It does suggest we need to finish with form rather than stutter to 7th to improve our chances in the play offs.I don’t like to disappoint...
Sides finished 7th form in last 8 league games (final game right)
16/17 Blackpool WLLDWWLW
15/16 Wimbledon LWWWWWDW
12/13 Bradford LWDWWDWD
11/12 Crewe WDDWDWDD
09/10 Dag & Red WLDWWLWW

What’s safety got to do with it.? The work being done is on the other side of the ground. Segregation could easily be moved. On safety grounds they can only give 300. Not sure where you expect them to magic the rest from.
This is our season graph
The data gathered is from Transfermkt
League Two - Form table
If you flick back through the seasons in question it will show you the sides in the play offs form on the run in.

On the grounds they arent allowed to give more than 300. Just because we want more doesnt mean they can give us them. What’s safety got to do with it.? The work being done is on the other side of the ground. Segregation could easily be moved.
