Player Ratings v Getafe (2 Viewers)

Hard to give ratings as it's a friendly, and Getafe were more interesting in MMA than football. Refs were wank as always, but my main takeaways:

I think we may be okay with Eccles/Burroughs as RB back up.

Hope Wright is okay, but on the subject of him and the ST position, I think I'm happy with Obikwu/Dausch filling in there as 3rd/4th option. If something happens to Simms, we could move Wright centrally and have EMC cover left.

Rudoni on set pieces looks decent too!

In very hot conditions we played with good energy and looked bright both halves. In fact we looked the better side through out and unlucky not to get a goal.

In all honesty pre season friendlies don't tell you a lot, but it was a good workout.

Good play down the right side in first half (MVE and Tats) and good play down the left in the second half (EMC and Rudoni). I liked what I saw

A decent work out in hot conditions.
Good preparation at this stage of pre-season.

The ref was very poor and should of clamped down on the bad challenges early on.

A good workout which we controlled for the most part, looking forward to seeing Torp and Rodriguez or Rodri as I like to call him in action

Was nice to see Rudi putting in some quality balls, the last kick of the game being that freekick which kitch narrowly put wide

Changes are coming

Burroughs ability to skin someone from a stop position is impressive. He showed it a few times when he played for us and I'm hoping that loan spell has given him the confidence to believe.

You can tell he wants to just run at people but doesn't want to lose it or make a mistake

If anything it’s the weak centre that worries me TBH.
The left and right probably need to move a little more central if we're to be successful.
