Looking forward to hearing off all the Dabo knockers on here tonight miles ahead of sterling...Rose & Mason also very good today Godden unlucky not to score,Kelly showed Ogogo how to play CDM today.

Dabo was MoM... not sure why Mason got it.

Jobello improved as the game went on whilst Hiwula regressed badly.

Shipley best midfielder 1st half and deserved his goal.

Mariosi 7 don’t think he has to save anything all game did he? Distribution is good, spraying it out to mason and dabo all game on the touch line

Mason 8 composed on the ball, great control and gets forward really well. Tricky and pacey

Rose 7

McFadzean 7 Solid in the air, gets some distance on his headed clearances

Dabo 8/9 MOM for me. constantly looking to get forward. Looks rapid and pretty strong too so can fend off challenges. Happy to receive the ball wherever and good control. Upgrade on sterling for me but obviously it’s early

Shipley 7 good finish

Westbrooke 6 just a few wayward passes or passes that put people under pressure. Can’t be too harsh on him cause he’s just settling in but not as confident

Kelly 8 great performance. Really put himself about

Jobello 7 got forward really well and put in lots of dangerous balls, although a couple were too close to the keeper and easily dealt with. Got pace on him so can beat his man. Looks good

Godden 7 won a good bit in the air and is getting in the right positions. Couple of times he was in a good position but didn’t get it,

Hiwula 6 think there was a chance in 6 yard box he should have scored and he really should’ve pulled it back to godden for one chance in the first half. Not terrible though

Marosi - 7 not much to do. One dodgy moment when he flapped at a cross. Good distribution.
Dabo - 9 brilliant all game. His touch and pass for the second were unbelievable.
McFadzean - 8 solid. Great signing.
Rose - 7 poor defending for Bristol’s early chance when 0-0. Good with the ball at his feet. Dealt well with JCH.
Mason - 8 strong again at both ends of the pitch. Early call for POTS.
Kelly - 8 vital in the middle. Breaks up play and wins the ball back so well.
Shipley - 7 linked up well with Mason down the left in the first half and took his goal well. I like him in the middle.
Westbrooke - 6 poor in the first half. Better in the second. Will probably drop to the bench when Allen is fit.
Jobello - 8 getting better with every game. His crossing is great.
Hiwula - 5 poor touch all game. Nothing came off for him.
Godden - 7 good movement, link up play and great ability in the air for under 6 foot. Goals will come.

Kastaneer - 8 great goal.
Bakayoko - 6 didn’t make much of an impact.

Absolutely everywhere, does the simple stuff really well

Tidy finish. Tends to give the ball away at times.

Faded as the game wore on. Some decent touches.

Gave the ball away too much.

A threat, and a good assist.

Godden 7
Worked hard. Should have scored with a header. Decent effort against the post.

Dabo has been brilliant. I had my reservations when I seen him in pre-season but he’s definitely proved me wrong. Last season we might have drew that game 0-0, but this team looks like it can put the teams we should be beating to bed. It’s early doors, but I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen so far.

Marosi 6- not a lot to do, dodgy moment for the cross, didn't even get near it to be honest, but other than that okay.
Dabo 9- great match again from him. Strong in the challenge, gets up and down really well. And that assist. Wow.
Mcfadzean 7.5- he's calm and composed. He's also brave and goes in for stuff. Upgrade on willis for me.
Rose 7- looks tidy, but almost cost us once in the first half, but again composed and calm. I like.the look of him.
Mason 8- it looked for the first 5 mins that JCH was gonna run him ragged all game, but he stepped up well and had another great game, like dabo was up and down and played a lovely ball for hiwula first half.
Kelly 8- he keeps everything ticking, does a lot of the dirty stuff, but also lead all of our best stuff.
Shipley 7- good finish, he does have a few misplaces touches and passes, but I think he's going to be vital in a 4-3-3. Hes effective.
Westbrook 6- again I thought he was the weakest of the 3 he's clearly very tidy, but he doesn't affect the game enough for my liking.
Jobello 7.5- some greats runs and great tenacity. I think he could be a key key player for us, some greats balls in as well.
Godden 7- all he lacked today was a goal. He harried all game, got into some great positions and brought others into play. Miles ahead of any of our other strikers.

Can't comment as I couldnt go today as we went on a Harry Potter studio tour thing for my lad which we booked about six months ago. Got back about 2.15 so would never have got to St Andrew's.

Great result very good performance, Dabos certainly improving into a real decent right back, Mason another great game, Kelly immense, Hiwula largely missing needs to try and get into the games more, poor touch giving the ball away, Shipley does some great work, including the goal today, but lets himself down with fucking lazy lack of concentration passes, needs to cut that out of his game more.
Defence dealt with most things overall if we keep playing like this we will be up there at the end of the season barring injuries ...I am a happy bunny

Think slightly is being kind. Goals add gloss to a performance Shipley while decent turns over possession far more readily and does not create as much as Kelly.

Marosi - 7 one blood to the head moment but his passing is excellent
Dabo - 8.5 almost at the point of saying he’s too good for league 1
Mason - 8.5 energy excellent. Great link up play and passing
Mcfazdean - 8 excellent passing and awareness. I love it when centre backs direct headers to team mates
Rose - 7.5 still well impressed with his passing and heading not as good with his awareness today but as a pair wow
Jobello - 7.5 really grew into the game his and Dabo’s crossing was excellent
Westbrook - 7 went missing at times but his passing is sublime
Kelly - 9 mom everywhere
Shipley - 7 think he’s most at risk if Allen comes in. Nice goal and getting better and tougher
Hiwula - 6 you don’t need him to do much if he scores or assists but you need more than today
Godden - 7 should have scored 1 of his 3 openings today. He’ll score a few

Kastaneer - wonderful goal
Baka - looked up for it I think he’ll learn a lot from godden

Robins 10 mins too late with jobello for kastaneer and needs a midfield change. You have to say and it’s early that he’s signed some good first teamers this summer

Thought we looked solid, and they never really threatened us.

Dabo was excellent, I criticised him last week, but looked completely different today, big, strong, fast, willing to get forward, everything you expect from a modern day full back. Looks better then Sterling.
I thought Westbooke looks a decent footballer with the ball at his feet but off the ball he always seems to be a little flat footed and slightly indecisive.

Feel positive after the start we have had, we should have the full 9 points, big test Tuesday night, I'd be more then happy with a draw, then back to winning ways against Gillingham.
