Marosi 8. Brilliant saves continuing from last week-end. Distribution not up to the usual.

Dabo 8. Love him. Got a selfie last weekend and that's all that matters! Did something really fantastic in the first half. So much confidence.
McFaz 9. Leader. Key man.
Hyam, Rose 7. So consistent. Rose improved since an off-day on Saturday.
McCallum. 6. Poor first half. But never hides. Pompey's attacks seemed to be focused on his side.

Walsh, Kelly, Allen 7. Difficult day at the office. Kept going. We couldn't control today's game in midfield as per usual.

O'Hare 8. His work rate is fantastic. Always wants the ball. Set up Godden?

AB 7. Thankless task alone up front particularly in a game like today. Caused problems in the first 30.

Subs: Max, few chances to impress but gave the opposition something to think about. Godden - complete waste of money.

One of our most difficult games of the season - Portsmouth are very effective in what they do.

Jesus christ, you're just looking for an excuse to have a moan now aren't you? I gave every player who started the game 6 or more. It was a scrappy games in which two teams cancelled each other out for the majority of it. I'm not going to bump everyone up to 9s just because we won.

Marosi 10 huge saves when we needed them

Dabo 8 worked hard all game and throw ons et up goal. Battled well in air too

Rose mcfadz hyam 9

Mcallum 5 a poor game but still tried to win headers and make blocks etc. BS that hes phoning it in

Kelly 8

O hare 9

Walsh 6 a rare below par game imo. Not popr jsut not usual walsh standarda

Allen 7 looked lively

Baka 7 good start. Petered out

Bimaou 5 did little

Godden 8 great finish

Marosi and the 3 CBs all 9. Fadz possibly a 9.5 based on organising and just willing to head anything.

Dabo 8 he’s a real outball and you can see the team look for him at every opportunity. Finds some great passes into dangerous positions in midfield. Workhorse.

McCallum 7 again is an out ball but not as effective. Defended well second half

Walsh 7 neat and tidy but unable to control the game. Has a lovely first touch

Allen 7 same as Walsh but busier. First touch usually very good.

Kelly 7 Struggled to have a real impact but still a very key component. Think his game is understated and does the dirty work well

O’Hare 8 always wants the ball and looking to make something happen. Fantastic assist and a good effort first half

Baka 7 put himself about and linked the play up nicely. Battled and worked for the team. No real sight of goal

Godden 8 took his goal very well. Made himself busy closing down and chasing for the last few minutes.

Biamou 6 Didn’t have much of an impact in the short time he was on

Overall whilst I thought the quality generally was poor, which is a result of Portsmouth’s style of play, I though we deserved the win. They made the game an ugly game to suit them and did that well, but thought we were marginally the better footballing side and deserved the points.
Fantastic result. Absolutely essential we follow it up with a win on Saturday!

Agree with most of that, but Baka did well. I know it's splitting hairs a bit but thought he was worth a 7 too. Played his part in a win.

We looked better with 2 up front.

I agree he played his part. The biggest part being the rest he’s given Godden and max. Huge he’s in and around the first team. I’ve heard he’s hoping for one positive comment from Grendel before he leaves
