Sterling was awful. Looked ponderous on the ball. Slow getting to the ball. Slipped a few times and got caught the wrong side of his man a few times. Apart from that he has had a decent game today
Don't think its that. He just doesn't seem to be aware of where he should be and when he should do stuff. Positionally he looks like someone who has never played 11 a side football before. I know he's young but he's been playing at some level for 10+years and to consistently struggle to be the right side of his man tells me he's not been told where he needs to be or he's not listening to what he's been told.
