I think this shows Wilson has more command as the defence is more organised but Collins has done better at keeping them outShots faced per 90
1. Brad Collins 4.93
2. Ben Wilson 3.72
this is the main issue, shjowing were getting nearly 5 goals a game on average, need to sort the defence out.

Thats a good point actually, but Collins also played a small chunk with Fadz as well, obviously less sample size with him, but it shows the need for a leader maybe McNair would be a good signingI don’t think it was Wilson commanding the defence when he was in the team. He generally played when Fadz did didn’t he?
Dasilva needs ridding of defensive duties, is what most have said.Top assisters:
1.Haji Wright 7
1. Kasey Palmer 7
3. Josh Eccles 6
4. Milan van Ewijk 5
4. Jay Dasilva 5
That can't be right. Palmer has no end product and Dasilva is the worst player ever.

Doesn't help the argument of the Eccles haters either. Third most assists coming from our holding midfielder, but they didn't see any of those so they don't count.Top assisters:

How do you get that from those stats?I think this shows Wilson has more command as the defence is more organised but Collins has done better at keeping them out
I come to that conclusion due to the same defenders playing but looking more shaky with one in net than the otherHow do you get that from those stats?
That is textbook, reading whatever you want from a statistic. MR has mentioned it enough times that our defending hasn’t been good enough, giving up 9 shots in the box against Ipswich is not all Collins fault.
Our defending last season was so much better and we had Ben Wilson in goal who equally had the ‘doesn’t command his area’ trope thrown his way. In fact, the only goalie in years gone by who has had control of it was Stockdale according to fans.

Eccles scores really well throughout.Doesn't help the argument of the Eccles haters either. Third most assists coming from our holding midfielder, but they didn't see any of those so they don't count.
Simms low numbers reflects beginning of the season, not the end,Most minutes played
1. Bobby Thomas 3759
2. Josh Eccles 3288
3. Milan van Ewijk 3102
4. Haji Wright 2969
5. Ellis Simms 2728
Assuming this includes FA cup (goals scored does), then it seems a relatively modest total for the most active players in the squad. 42 games for Thomas and only 30 for Simms. There should have been plenty in the tank to cover the fixture congestion towards the end of the season.
Everyone rightly happy with Wright's 7 assists but Eccles 6 shows he is our weakness. And Eccles only passes backwards
I maintain he was our best player. Scores above Sheaf on most of these measures.Eccles scores really well throughout.
I know, it’s madness. Eccles is a good player, the number of times it’s him who pops up to clear danger whilst still having the third highest number of assists and the highest number of key passes shows it.Everyone rightly happy with Wright's 7 assists but Eccles 6 shows he is our weakness.
And Eccles only passes backwards
I think Eccles has had a decent season but at least 2 of his assists were from the 7,000 corners he took at the start of the season.Everyone rightly happy with Wright's 7 assists but Eccles 6 shows he is our weakness.
I'd like him to chip in with more goals tbh, his shooting is pretty poor. And takes set pieces
Badly according to most on here! And takes set pieces
Two absolutely shithousery ones the last two home gamesJosh Eccles with 12 yellows I didn’t expect.
Thats because he’s the only one with 1 red card let alone 3Most Yellow Cards:
1. Josh Eccles 12
2. Kasey Palmer 9
2. Bobby Thomas 9
4. Joel Latibeaudiere 8
5. Ben Sheaf 7
No mention of Kitching and number of red cards.
Not really certainly not as wild as sheaf's!I'd like him to chip in with more goals tbh, his shooting is pretty poor.

He's scored 1 deflected goal this season and that's it right?Got it in him, he was top scorer for the U23s one season IIRC, or at least scored a few.
But knows how to strike the ball? He's scored 1 deflected goal this season and that's it right?
"How many reds did Liam get this year?"No mention of Kitching and number of red cards.
