Plymouth v Carlisle on a Tuesday evening a 779 mile round trip doesn't make a lot of sense that.

It's an absolute disgrace. FL should hang their heads in shame.

I don't know how the fixture computer works but there must be some options as Liverpool and Everton are never both at home 3pm Saturday surely when somebody looked at it they could have said this can't happen, how can a normal fan make this trip bad enough on a weekend but a Tuesday night is insane.

They can put certain fixtures in which avoid set dates. Why wasn't this one of them?

In fairness only a few sad bastards are going to make that trip whether it was a Saturday or a Tuesday. If I told my Mrs I was twatting our money on that she'd have my nuts on a plate.

Dont know at all, it makes me think that going back to south and North may work in the lower leagues.
Yeah possibly semi professional as well
I have heard a couple of Boro players refuse lower league offers as its more lucrative to maintain a separate career alongside the part time game.

My godfather turned down a move to a league club years ago as he could make more money semi pro and working in a factory, I guess it depends on your current job and where the club who wants you are based.

I suppose if you live in the southern part of Carlisle it's not as bad. It would only be about 778 mile round trip. Quite do-able.
