He still lives in cov and knows a lot of the lads well
Full of shit but hosting Cov games. Thick as fuck some of these morons.
the Birmingham lot were bullying lads after the game. it wasn’t a walk for the faint hearted to the station. the police set it up for trouble. replay will be nice different. cov will need there wits about them
Singing it is embarrassing, singing it from the safety of a police escort is whatever the word for worse than embarrassing is
Yes there was, it was 2009 though iircIf I remember correctly there was trouble at the Gas Club in the Championship. Possibly 12/13 when we went down and they had 6k at the Ricoh
The cup draw had awkward written all over it. We have been in their ground, their pubs, their streets but never in the sense of taking it over and they’ve tolerated that. Singing Birmingham’s a shithole and the like, was at best a show of ingratitude and at worst provocative. There were clearly plenty of idiots about from all sides, theirs happen to be far nastier. The draw (match) is equally unfortunate as things will likely be uglier. I won’t be walking back through Digbeth in the dark that’s for certain.
The police I spoke to about getting back to the car park were quality. They said they were mainly concerned about blues and city meeting in Digbeth so advised me to wait for the vans to be moved at the top end which is where those flares came over. Cos I had James with me one offered to have a word and let us through but said they'd be moving the road block in 15-20 minutes so I was OK waiting. What time was this. I saw nothing as I walked through Digbeth.
I either just missed it or it happened after I passed.
He’s back in brum now mate full timeHe still lives in cov and knows a lot of the lads well
How’s that ? Do little research & speak to the right people you’ll soon hear how big a firm Blues have.Think your on the wrong forum, what an embarrassing thing to say
"Halfandhalfscarves" is the word you're looking for.Singing it is embarrassing, singing it from the safety of a police escort is whatever the word for worse than embarrassing is
From what I see it’s mouthy young kids who can’t handle beer or old stone island wearing piss heads, did you see cov against brum at the Ricoh ? in the car parks after near Tesco etc ?With all due respect, how do you know? I don't, not involved with that scene and never have been, but in 25 years following Cov away there have been times I have have witnessed stuff that was far from embarrassing (in that sense anyway).
Yesterday was nothing to do with that anyway. You had 11K City fans on an away day. Loads of groups on a day out, some youngsters, some older lads, just on a day out, none of whon would identify as being 'Legion' (does it really exist in any meaningful sense anyway) , not neccesarily looking for trouble but who might have become targets and got involved in stuff.

Yeah heard that myself he’s always said what a poor so called firm cov haveI’ve read his book just out of interest and he said the few times he’s been with Cov he’s been left on his own
My attempts to persuade people to add a "k" in front of nob or nobhead when obviously referring to a cock have failed. So I'll stop now.No he is always a nobhead
The like's for spelling knobhead correctly.Man left with fractured skull near Blues ground before match
Maybe this was another reason for a heavy police presence post match?
Football fans make the trouble for themselves unfortunately. Always happens if we get ‘big crowds’ because one knobhead thinks he can cope with more than one beer!
@SkyBlueDom26 won’t like thisUnfortunately incidents like yesterday happen. As for Birmingham, any hooligan book you read they all rate Birmingham zulus and they are nasty bastards. I hope not but as for the replay, I think the fuse has been lit.

Know problem. We appreciate you trying to pass on your nowledge.
It never is these called “legion” ladsFrom what I’ve figured out it wasn’t the main Cov lads that were involved, it was younger ones and random fans. The police escorted the Legion late to the ground after holding them back I believe.
unfortunately it’s often the innocent people that get targeted.
Which I why I won’t be walking through Digbeth at 10pm at night, not a Chance. I value my life more.@SkyBlueDom26 won’t like this
I bet you don't say a word to any of them thoughIt never is these called “legion” lads
I know most of them some are my pals believe me I do lolI bet you don't say a word to any of them though
I would disagree, the fuse was those people slagging off Birmingham and was extinguished with a fractured skull.Unfortunately incidents like yesterday happen.
