Why wait? Delaying the decision might cost us a few players......there are some who could be encouraged to stay if we show decisiveness, and others who might conclude that indecision is indicative that the club lacks direction and ambition.???
If there was a better candidate, who would be cheaper, and equally prepared to come to a penniless club, then fine we could wait. But there isn't, and Andy ticks the boxes, so let's get this sorted.
Unless, of course, the club does not wish to burden potential new owners with an unknown manager......but then, we are not for sale, right?!?!?
we cant build for next season yet we dont know who goes who stays
Just to note I would like ANDY thorn to be appointed at the end of the season and not just ANY thorn as per the poll. I think ANY thorn may be a bit prickly.

As Paxman said slow down.
AT isnt doing his chances any harm at all right now but there are some reasons why it might suit a lot of parties not to make an appointment until late May or even June
1- appoint now and the overheads will go up...... even AT will want more money for taking the top position, he wont be being paid the full wack for the current situation.
2- last thing SISU will want will be to add to overheads earlier than necessary, May and June are poor months for football clubs
3- SISU quite likely have an agenda we don't know about
4- We do not know who we can keep let alone who we want to keep in terms of the squad any manager coming in or staying will need to know that
5- We dont know what the financial situation really is and any manager new or existring will need to know his budget
6- Its working at the moment why change before we have to? SISU and the Board are getting little bad press and they will be glad of that, come May & July football will take a break and SISU get a period under less scrutiny.
7- When AT finds out the package, budget and players available he might not want it. But needs to know all that before he can decide and I doubt SISU can tell him until well into May
I doubt much is going to change before end of May, AT has a good chance of the job but I wouldnt bet on anything at CCFC.
To be fair I think the mistake in hindsight was not getting rid of Thorn sooner rather than appointing him in the first place.
Should also remember that Thorn & Carsley are not the same person.
