So now it isn't "away games only" it's "there is life outside CCFC". Endless excuses.
I went to every pre-season game possible aside from Spain. I went to Bolton and will be going to Oxford. I cannot make Portsmouth and suspect most fans are in the same boat. In fact I can’t really make any away Tuesday night games. I don’t expect us to sell anything close to 1k for this and I don’t think that’s bad at all.
I don't understand why people take it as a personal insult, so you can't go that's all good and well.
Thousands of other fans though
I’m just saying that I’m in that position as are most people I know. Don’t see why people are knocking the tickets sold for this.
We've sold 300, with 5000-7000 fans staying away from home matches.. I have no doubt it will end up closer to 1000 but it puts to bed the argument that many fans are not doing home matches but away day only
Plenty of people will be doing away games only but it doesn’t mean every away game. It means they’ll go to away games that they want to and won’t go to home games.
I take it we can pay on the gate tomorrow?
Right.... So like I said it will be the same people as every season, same faces, same numbers.
Yeah it's... fine. When you've been called a scab by people saying they will be supporting away instead of at home and it appears they aren't bothering then it grates a bit.Cov traditionally don’t travel brilliantly to midweek games with some distance unless something significant is riding on it. I’d imagine this will be approx 700 tops which isn’t bad for a League One midweek fixture.
Right.... So like I said it will be the same people as every season, same faces, same numbers.
I see my posts are all being deleted by the moderator. Thanks Mark.
To be fair if his intention is to annoy everybody on here then on here is the best place for it.They all are, not just yours. You're all more than welcome to continue your little private spat where it's not annoying the rest of us that want to talk about the topics of the individual thread. You're more than welcome to join in but keep it on topic but if your sole intention is to annoy everyone on here then find somewhere else to do it.
Right.... So like I said it will be the same people as every season, same faces, same numbers.
It'll be just like the Northampton season. Numbers did go up that season on average by a decent amount. All that will happen is for the games that are in high demand, that demand will go up, but for the midweek games and less attractive fixtures you won't notice a difference. I notice I'm being lent on already by people asking me if I'll get Burton and Oxford tickets for them when they're released. Nobody is asking about Pompey though.
Hopefully we have bigger numbers then, we will have too see
We got over 2,000 with a days notice for Bolton, sure we'll see some big away followings this year. Midweek games are always awkward.
Get them to book a corporate box and invite your friends on Sky Blues Talk. And my work HQ is at Watford so gonna try and get to the cup game away as well. Magic.
How dare you!2 purchased this morning. Look forward to seeing 10/12
