There was a lot of outstretched arms / shouting . I felt sorry for the old chap who was trying to drag him to safety. this old guy goes everywhere with CCFC. I assume he's not related to the young lad .
I started typing it, then lost confidence, and googled it just in case (cheat, cheat, cheat)
No.Ah, asking for a slap then. If anything it's not fair on the people he is with other fans who feel they would need to look after him. Ruin their days out too.

If he does then does he have a carer or somebody with him to look after him?

I take it back about the slap!
Probably just needs an arm round his shoulder and telling him to chill out I guess in case somebody does take it the wrong way.
We're on about the same person then and you're right about putting stuff on here. I've since thought about it and won't be doing it. I also felt sorry for the old chap trying to appease the police and stewards.
In terms of a condition, not sure about that. I'd bet my wedding budget on plenty of drink and drugs being involved though. The guy could hardly walk. There were some Pompey fans giving him some back but he just kept singing stuff like 'I came 150 miles on a train and Cov are gonna win' and stuff like that. We were 2-0 down at this point. He kept on staggering from behind the goal to the dug outs. I saw him and Reda have words when he came off and it looked like Reda gave him a hug so he can't have given him an ear bashing.
He did seem to be shouting at our own subs though when they were warming up by the touchline. I have a video of him shouting at Martin (I think it was him) as well as others shouting something along the lines of 'if you don't give 100% to the badge, you're scum'. I get the sentiment, not the delivery or over-enthusiasm though.
And one thing that also sticks out is that he was shouting the name of a poster who's been on here recently trying to defend the actions of our fans. Couldn't see said fan respond to him to be fair though.
As for behind the goal, I saw the famous tattoo'ed Pompey fella with the bell and horn (a librarian no less) seemed to be playing the horn along to the Sky Blue song. Looked pretty jovial and good natured to be honest.
If anyone didn't know better, you'd say he was asking for it but , In this case, I'd say no . I'm convinced it's a medical condition. he should either stop drinking or as you ask , have a helper with him.
So if its the same guy we are all thinking of, black hair shouts alot at the players, kissing his badge at Notts C, thrown out at Preston Crewe Chesterfield etc, Military style hair cut around 24-26 years of age, It might be a medical condition which makes me feel sorry for the lad, however what was the reasons for him hitting his girlfriend at Crewe?
You're all talking about Henley - fucking hilarious nutcase. Not sure he has mental difficulties, just think he loves the sesh.
That's how everyone else knows him - which is why he gets that chanted at him as he paces up and down the stands when he's in full flow. He's a bit like the 'Forward' guy, but for the younger generation.I don't know him by that name.

There were 2 stewards following him around the ground as we walked about. There were some knobber Pompey fans there as well. 1 fat dickhead (20 stone+) mid 20's was giving the said young man loads of verbals and come on then as he was singing his Coventry songs. When Pompey scored he came off the terrace and stood about a yard away from the City fans behind the goal with his shirt over his head, arms out wide. 2 teenage girls then came down and said to him "Will you come away your supposed to be looking after us"

Definitely two different people, the first one had normal t-shirt stunk of b o and looked like he needed his own carer. If the second one was the same one I saw, he was part of a group that stood at the front in the second half. One of them told the fat guy to do one or he would knock him out even though he new him. They looked like they were waiting to kick off.
Ah so he gets egged on and plays on it?
The highlights are now on the Sky Blues Player for those who are signed up -

Assume he got kicked out as he seemed to disappear in the second half. Surprised he didn't get a slap to be honest. If he has got issues and does the same thing and gets kicked out at every games shouldn't someone be looking after him and reigning him in a bit?
Not sure it as the brightest idea to have no segregation to start off with. I moved from behind the goal when the drummer turned up but it did seem to be getting a bit tense over there.
Obviously only a friendly and Pompey are ahead of us in their preparation for the new season (they started back a week earlier and it was their fourth friendly) but the first half was a bit worrying. That could easily be a side we are fielding for a league game and they really struggled to get any control over the game. Second half was an improvement but then we got into the revolving door of substitutions and it all became a bit disjointed.
It was noticeable that the majority of our players were a lot smaller than Pompey, we may need to add some physicality to the squad.
