If we start the season with Wilson as first choice it will not go well he is a league two keeper at best.

Currently trying to convince myself that there's no way Robins goes into a season with Wilson as our number 1.

Makes sense. Judging from Robins' post match comments Palmer is probably still a way off from starting successive games in a short space of time.

That penalty save in the dead rubber v WBA is looking unfortunate now..

If Moore replaces him at H/T I think they'll have played about the same minutes during pre season. If not maybe he is on his way.

Suprised Sheaf is on the bench, thought he'd be a nailed on starter, hopefully he'll be in the starting line up next Sunday.

I'm guessing something might have happened at the end of last season.
Wasn't Wilson apparently starting then to rest Moore?
Surely that's not still the case now?

That’s what some were claiming on here but it looks more like he was dropped….if I was him I’d be demanding to leave.

I actually think Wilson is good enough backup, but Moore is the best keeper we've had for a while. Very strange

Moore has to be No1 , the whole of the defence looks more assured with him there.

Yes I think his fitness progress will be carefully managed based on what Robins has said. Seems sensible not to over stretch him too soon and just set him back.

Seems like he might be off soon? So would be pointless preparing with him as first choice.

Plus his distribution and ball control is so much better then Wilson.

It’s very concerning that Ben Wilson has been a number two goalkeeper everywhere he has been including league two clubs, and now he is our number one.

Not that this would happen but if we ever played a diamond:

Sheaf
Hamer Allen
O'Hare

Would work superbly

Whatever MR decides is fine by me - really think the frequency of games is going to mean few sides are able to manage without squad rotation, due to knocks and fatigue. happy to get through today without any serious injuries. Then (fingers crossed) play the Mackems off the park.

Don't panic. If Moore goes to Bournemouth there will be a replacement number 1 lined up.
