it will be interesting to see if we can build a young squad that matures at the same time(ala man utd 90s),but i beleive we need to be in the championship to be able to do that
It may be irritating but it won't go away until Sisu sort things out or until our fan base consists of the 1 man and his dog who don't care about Sisu. I'm betting on 1 an and a dog.....
But that's not what this thread was about. For Christ's sake, it's a positive thread about 3 very, potentially, good players signing new deals with us. I'm with getting SISU out, with viable alternatives. But every second of every day hearing about it is going to send me mental. It's time to change the record on threads that aren't anything to do with SISU.
So Sisu out of the goodness of their heart gave the boys more money not because they are a saleble asset !!!!
And if you read my comment KG I agreed it is a good thing as long as its for the long haul and part of building a team for the future.
Or maybe we can turn this post into a Sisu appreciation topic ( slooooower clap )
It a win win scenario all round - their contracts add value to ccfc books, it ensure a better price for them if they are sold, they get a pay rise and guaranteed work for the next few years which gives them some protection for when they go through a bad dip in form, and we the fans get a nice morale boost!
Very happy to see the kids sign up. They all have a bright future in the game and if they play their cards right could be Prem players one day.
If we get 3 good years out of them in the first team that would be an achievement before they leave for bigger clubs.
Also with Dunn in the wings and Cody upfront, there is a bright future with this crop. Unfortunately they are not getting the chance to play next to some decent quality experience in our team. A Wise, Hutchinson in midfield for example would be fab for the midfield players
