Coventry City manager believes Sunday's game against London Irish will be a 'great' event
Steven Pressley has wished Wasps every success when they take on London Irish in the club’s big Ricoh Arena opener on Sunday.

The Coventry City boss says he’s grateful to the Aviva Premiership rugby club’s efforts in re-laying the pitch ahead of this weekend’s two sporting fixtures at the stadium, and said: “We wish them well on Sunday.

“They are going to attract a big crowd. I think Steve Ogrizovic is going along and I hope they have a great day and I am sure it will be an exciting time for the city.

“I was tempted to go but I have got family over from Italy so I am unlikely to go, but I think it will be a great event.”

Asked if he’s a rugby fan, the Scot said: “I played a wee bit at school but it’s not like down here. We must be a bit softer.”
